The Manticore was called to assist a convoy under attack that

turned out to be a trap when the main convoy ship fired on us

and sent over a boarding party to capture the crew. After a

successful resistance, we have now retaken the ship. We

have completed a retaliatory attack on the convoy cargo carrier,

but during the fight, Matt McFly was killed and Kansas Kenickie

was seriously wounded by enemy fire (or so we all believe). Now,

Admiral Atragon-9 has taken control of the ship, demanding

unquestioning loyalty from all. One group not agreeing is Eng,

who has stopped the ship's departure from the convoy by ejecting

the warp core. The core has been retrieved and Sovak has

released the prisoners to retake the ship. Then a stranger and a

second A9 transport onto the Bridge from the cargo carrier.
