The Manticore escaped a temporal distortion field that kept

everyone onboard looping across the same six days, except Chief

Engineer Jaenke for a full year. After a quick debriefing (it HAD

only been six days), the ship was overhauled in drydock and the

crew was given a month's leave to try and explain their one year

absence to their families (without actually explaining it - we LOVE

black ops.) Fun time is over, the crew is back onboard and

ready to resume their mission.
