I would like to sincerely apologize for my above post which might imply anything but the utmost respect for the French people.  It was not my intention to insult the stupid, rude, snail-eating, would be speaking German if it weren't for the USA people of France in any way.    ;)

Aphrodite is KBear (wow i am really trying to get brownie points :D ::D: )

Apollo is Grom

well you other GM's I guess your just demi-gods :;):

LOL - I work for a German company with offices around the world.  The company actually decided to have English be the official company language.  Complying with this policy is another matter however.  You won't believe the number of E-mails I get that need translation - even from my boss who knows I don't speak it.

And even though the Van Roy name is Dutch (spelled Rooy in Europe but pronounced the same as Roy) I am also half-German.

Actually English is composed of 30% German which is our normal everyday conversations like how Haus is German for house and stein is a stone and Ein and stuff like that we learned it in sociology ;)

So what is "Einstein"?

Einstien means one stone he had that name because he was jewish and the Germans hated the Jewish and gave them stupid names to show that they were inferior but now Einstien is now know as a word for genius so I think good ole Einstein made good of that ;)

OK, maybe only Californians will get this joke, but I'll say it anyway.

Q:  How do you turn an Einstein into an idiot?

A:  Put an "F" in front of it.  (Feinstein)

I beg to differ, Buffalo Wing Hunter.  The topic got back on track after my wisecrack.  It fell apart during your shameless self promotion. ;-)

Hey, if I could promote myself I'd outrank you by now!  I was promoted by my CO fair and square.

Of course it was a wise decision on her part...   :D

OK, here is a German engineering joke:

Zwei Geraden treffen sich in der Unendlichkeit. Sagt die eine: "Aus dem Weg, sonst leit' ich dich ab!" Antwortet die andere: "Aetsch! Ich bin eine e-Funktion."

Where do you think the people at *Nike* came up with the name?  Cripes they're not THAT original.  A good marketing ploy to name their shoes after the Goddess of Victory.

I seem to be making the rounds ... Aphrodite, Hera, Medusa, the Fates and now Nike.  ::looks to Ziggy::  You said something about tequila?
