Rhan tapped the button to initialize the transport of the away team. As the damaged system blurped unhealthy noises at him he saw in his mind's eye a flash of the entire away team arriving on the transporter pad as smoking piles of organic goo. Deciding that would be an extremely bad thing he cancelled the transport just in time, before the beam had a chance to start dematerializing the team over at the station. Though they might have begun to feel that initial tickle and flash of light before it abruptly cut off.

"K'hal to Admiran... You guys will have to sit tight for a bit, we're having a bit of a problem over here. One of Greg's entrees got loose."
