RES TALON MISSION BRIEFING 051501.22 - The command staff of the Talon, in hiding at the Temarr family summer residence, work on trying to get updates on what is happening through the local media as well as the general government feed that is directed to the public, while a few of the others are working on getting basic needs settled.

KhreRiovtRex -> :: checks the hearth to check the breads that are baking and turns her attention back to the selection of meats she has roasting::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Laehval stood at the large display screen in the sitting area, working through the various data streams that they could passively gather with their limited system. From what she'd seen so far, things were not looking good for the Galae.::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: looks over to make sure that tr'Pexil is still attending to the fire and making sure it keeps at a constant ember:

Koga S'Bien -> ::drinks some tea and looks out of the window::

M_K_tKsa -> ::starting to scribble out a tiime line on her ISD from the few dates/times she's hearing on the data streams in order to get a handle on when the chaos started::

KhreRiovtRex -> ::decides everything is cooking nicely and will be ready to serve shortly, takes her leave to step out to the other room to check on the other's progress::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Laehval settled on one stream in particular. M_K_tKsa -> ::frowning:: I thought if I could come up with a timeline we could figure out when these incidents started. But I'm wondering if that's honestly a waste of time. ::leaning back in her chair::

KhreRiovtRex -> Too little information to bother, or too much ill for us to handle?

M_K_tKsa -> Too jumbled information. Plus, what knowledge do we gain from it? I know that when we track infectious diseases in the maenak world, it helps us figure out who patient zero is. But does this really hold true for the real world or am I just kidding myself and creating busy work for myself?

Laehval tTemarr -> The latter, I am afraid. Na without assistance, anyhow. There have been reports of some biological agent used against members of Galae and now, perhaps, even the deihu. Also a large number of incursions, though between who I can na say. On the station we have already seen that the Galae has been set against the Othans. ::To t'Rex.::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::At Ksa's questions, she turned to the doctor and shook her head.:: It would be more prudent to discover who is behind these attacks and what they used. I do na think this is a crippling viral outbreak, but rather a decisive and swift strike to eliminate the chosen.

KhreRiovtRex -> :: rubs her eyes:: And na doubt, the Tal Shiar has a hand in this somewhere, and a few others I suspect at a higher level. It does concern me that we've lost all contact with the upper levels of Galae and the Deihu so suddenly.

Lerak trPexil -> What happened to the Stinger? :: his mind had drifted a bit and he was asking out loud, luckily it was not too loud ::

KhreRiovtRex -> I find I have to agree with Laehval, in light of the events of the last year, which involved several of us being attacked or kidnapped, we know there were some in search of some way to create a stronger ....Rihan. And we, have some of the only proof against the Othan's involvement. They will be looking for us, and we know how they work, they will use our families against us if they are able.

KhreRiovtRex -> It has....be dispatched to a location I do na wish to disclose at this time, to protect au if we are caught, then au will have na knowledge. Only Laeh and I know where it has been dispatched at this point and it has it's own orders to prevent us from giving it away as well.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She glanced at Lerak.:: But rest assured, it remains safe. We did na endure all that we have within the recent past to have it retaken. KhreRiovtRex -> We need to decide what we are going to do at this point. We can na singlehandedly expect to take on both the entire Tal Shiar and the Othan as well......at least without a plan.

KhreRiovtRex -> We are also na going to expect to keep going without something to eat. Fhaen...I have a meal prepared, just simple sweetmeats, some breads and I have a pie baking. Let us sit and eat, and we can discuss.

KhreRiovtRex -> Laehval, I noted that au family had a supply of Kali-fal in the back room, it's fairly strong, I think we could use something to jolt into some clear thinking. May we open a bottle or two?

KhreRiovtRex -> That is my preference, but did na wish to presume hrrau au household, without au permission.

KhreRiovtRex -> ::turns to bring the food from the kitchens to the table, as the others are still somewhat in shock as to the status of the homeworld
