RES TALON MISSION BRIEFING 051501.08 - The remaining crew of the Talon that had escaped the Galae Orbital Station had made their way down to ch'Rihan and, through some crafty piloting, have been able to avoid being found and have put in at what they hope will be a secure hiding location. They have just arrived at the summer home of House Temarr, as Laehval knew that it would be vacant at this time of year. Koga and t'Aehjae have concealed the ship in a wooded grove nearby to avoid notice.

Koga S'Bien -> ::Carries cardboard t'Aehjae back to Laehval's abode after stashing the RAC in the woods::

KhreRiovtRex -> ::watches Laehval, and reaches over to put a hand on her shoulder:: It will be ok.

M_K_tKsa -> Just...be quiet, tr'Pexil, fhaen. Au only have a little while before the toxin works its way out of aus system.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She took a look at the house, glanced at t'Rex, and nodded slightly. Taking a deep breath, she moved forward to the security panel and entered her own credentials. *Access Denied* Gritting her teeth, she entered the override command and deactivated the alarm and automated transmission system.::

Lerak trPexil -> She thought I was having an alcoholic beverage, now I wish I had.. I hate these downward recoveries. :: quiet

Koga S'Bien -> ::enters the home, or presses the chime if the door isn't open::

KhreRiovtRex -> ::watched Laeh tense, obviously not having expected the system to register as denied.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::The front door swished open in response and Laehval entered the house. The interior was clean, well furnished, and comfortable. It wasn't overly lavish or stocked with priceless artifacts, but was elegantly decorated in practical designs.::

KhreRiovtRex -> ::looked back at the others indicating that they clean their boots before entering::

M_K_tKsa -> ::gives Laehval a skeptical glance as she entered the domicile, didn't know much about her personally before....feeling like she's intruding upon t'Temarr personal life now::

Koga S'Bien -> ::Follows the others inside:: The RAC has been safely hidden.

Lerak trPexil -> :: keeping right behind t'ksa as if he was a lost puppy ::

Laehval tTemarr -> Feel free to make yourself at home. ::She waved a hand at one side of the room that led into a large kitchen and eating area.:: There should be plenty of food stocked in the stasis units and there are more than enough bedrooms or couches for everyone to have a bit of a rest if they are so inclined.

M_K_tKsa -> ::frowns as tr'Pexil steps on her heals, turns around and physically steers him with her hands on his shoulders to the nearest couch::

KhreRiovtRex -> ::turns to Laehval:: Hann'yyo for allowing us to use this location. I fear however if we are found here, it could endanger au ..... family. I'd not wish to do that to au, we can find another location if au are uncomfortable about this.

M_K_tKsa -> ::sighs, moves her way to the kitchen, returning a few moments later with a full glass of water and a pitcher of more, shoves the glass into tr'Pexil's hand:: Drink.

Koga S'Bien -> ::Finds Pexil's drunken behaviour mildly amusing::

M_K_tKsa -> ::has a plan to make him so hydrated his eyeballs will float, waiting patiently until he finishes the first glass::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Laehval took a seat, slumping a bit into the cushions.:: I expect we have some planning to do. Or at least to evaluate our options.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She nodded to Koga.:: Ie, we'll have to get the array up and working. It is rarely used out here. Solitude over communication.

EvietMahren -> ::enters the home, after having taken a bit to scout the location::

EvietMahren -> ::removes her backpack and jacket, leaving the pack within an arm's reach of the door, and hanging her jacket in a nearby closet::

M_K_tKsa -> I'm guessing au didn't see how we had to get here, tr'Pexil? ::scratches her ear, after all she did try to order him to sleep:: I think we'll be safe for a little while at least.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She looked over at Lerak, glancing between him and Ksa and back again.:: No, he has a point. We should be examining all of our options and making backup plans.

KhreRiovtRex -> Koga, au t'A and I know t'Ksa didn't get any rest on the way here, au were busy the whole flight. I want you all to take a sleep break very shortly here. Au will do us na good if au fall asleep when we need au

Laehval tTemarr -> If au like, we can link them to the house's main sensor feed for a bit of a boost as soon as it is up and running.

KhreRiovtRex -> :: pulled out her own ISD and looked, still noting that there had been na a single communication from Var'lon, home, or Terronix since it has sped off, she really, really needed some intell on what was going on, almost frantic to go ensure her child was ok, but also knowing it's where she would be expected to go.

EvietMahren -> Probably a good idea. I am not expecting company, but anyone who drops by now wouldn't exactly be bringing me flowers.

KhreRiovtRex -> Laehval, will it be difficult to pick up that outside news feed? I'm sure it will be very......filtered, but will at least give us a bit of something to work with

Laehval tTemarr -> Once we get the array up, we should be able to ping most of the major transmission points in the area to gather whatever intel we can. It just depends on how many of them are up right now.

M_K_tKsa -> I didn't have a whole lot of time do anything with anything. And he ::points at tr'Pexil:: was doing *something* during our conversation...but he'll be no use to us until the toxin is out of his body.
