Mission Briefing RES Talon 2415 - Season 19

The Talon has arrived at the homeworld, but has decided to not dock at the orbital station, as we do na know the situation and want to make sure that the ship not get boarded. Several of us are about to head over to the station while we leave a contingent on the ship to make sure it is secure and leave if necessary....

KhreRiovtRex -> ::Walking toward the RAC bay with Laehval

Koga S'Bien -> ::prepping the RAC for launch::

Lerak trPexil -> (Am I on this? Can't remember)

Laehval tTemarr -> ::More than a little worried about what they might be walking into but determined not to show her nerves to the crew.::

KhreRiovtRex -> I don't ever seem to have fond memories of walking onto this station

M_K_tKsa -> ::on her way to meet up with the away team::

KhreRiovtRex -> Three times in chains, twice pending execution.....though that last ended up with a proposal.......and then that day I was forced to come out of retirement and start this fiasco

Koga S'Bien -> ::looking over the RAC as he goes about the usual pre-flight checks::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Snorts.:: Because it could very well result in execution for each of us. Na telling what is going on over there or who is in charge.

KhreRiovtRex -> t'Mahren.......Laehval and I ....along with a few others will be heading over to the station to debrief...and possibly be captured or killed, we do na know yet. Much of our communications have been jammed, but we've had a few brief words from the station

KhreRiovtRex -> We have given the excuse that we are na docking that we have an infestation of the poisonous lizards ...(we found 6 dead, so that we used that for an excuse)

KhreRiovtRex -> We want au to stay on the ship, protect it and if something happens to us, get it out of here

EvietMahren -> (( Pex, did you forget to feed the lizards again? ))

KhreRiovtRex -> I'm sure au have some contingency plans. We've also na heard from anyone in command, nor....from ...:; swallows:: the Daise'Khre'Riov and the Terronix has been non responsive since it left us

Laehval tTemarr -> As we told the others, na io is to come on board -- na even repair crews. We will send au a coded message upon our return.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Having said all she needed to say, Laehval entered the RAC bay and joined the others, climbing inside and taking an unoccupied seat.::

M_K_tKsa -> This ought to be interesting. ::taking her seat::

Koga S'Bien -> ::powers the RAC on:: +Oira+ Rac requesting launch clearance.

KhreRiovtRex -> Koga, they know we're here....just go, we'll never get through the jamming anyway

Lerak trPexil -> :: looks on in silence, gets out his eng scanner, checks it ::

Koga S'Bien -> ::navigates the course to the station::

Laehval tTemarr -> Ie, or three. ::Leans toward Pexil for a moment, eyeing his scanner.::

KhreRiovtRex -> What do au see?

 

Lerak trPexil -> :: notices her looking :: this will snoop for signals undetected.

EvietMahren -> ::with the shuttle away, heads back to try her comms once again::

KhreRiovtRex -> ACTION: As they approach the station, they note quite a few Galae ships apparently guarding it, and a few Tal Shiar ships a bit further out

Lerak trPexil -> :: concerns about the neighborhood they are entering

KhreRiovtRex -> They appear to be ours......take her in....Kogga

Koga S'Bien -> ::slows down as they approach the station:: Ie rekkhai. Taking us in.

M_K_tKsa -> Well, this ought to be interesting.

Laehval tTemarr -> Ie, I was counting on it. ::Leans back in her seat and turns toward the main viewer.::

KhreRiovtRex -> If we make it past that outer perimeter, I'd guess we've got at least a 20% chance of living

Koga S'Bien -> ::maneuvers into the station and looks for their landing spot::

KhreRiovtRex -> Well, we're still in one piece, that's a start...:: Looks out the front window:: But maybe na for long

M_K_tKsa -> What? Au think they've turned cannibal now?

 

KhreRiovtRex -> ACTION: A LARGE CONTINGENT OF ARMED TROOPS HAVE FILED INTO THE LANDING BAY, DISRUPTORS ALL POINTED TOWARDS THE RAC

 

KhreRiovtRex -> ::Looks at tKsa:: What?

KhreRiovtRex -> Na, I just thought they'd have shot us on sight

Koga S'Bien -> Oooh. ::moves in and lands the RAC::

KhreRiovtRex -> ::turns to tAehjae:: Au are to stay here and guard the RAC. Make sure nobody enters, I want to have a way out of here if necessary

M_K_tKsa -> Never mind.

KhreRiovtRex -> ::stands and walks to the hatch:: Laeh, if au would release the door locks fhaen......I will step out first. If they're going to shoot, they'll shoot me first anyway, might as well find out

Koga S'Bien -> ::powers down engines after they land::

M_K_tKsa -> Just remember, I can na put au in stasis from a disruptor shot.

M_K_tKsa -> And I have na stasis machine onboard this RAC

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She stands as the RAC lands and moves to the door to release the door locks, turning sidelong toward t'Rexan.:: Na, Rekkhai. I think we must make a bold impression. Au deserve a guard of honor. Let us move out first and flank the entryway before au make your appearance.

Lerak trPexil -> :: sets his answer to snoop, tucks it away ::

Koga S'Bien -> ::unsure if he should join the team or also stay in the RAC and get ready to depart at a moment’s notice::

KhreRiovtRex -> ::turns and looks Laeh in the eye:: If anyone does, au all do. but ......Hann'yyo..I think au have the right idea. A show of strength. If the Daise’Khre’Riov is still in charge, it would be expected and we'll know by how they respond

KhreRiovtRex -> (yes Koga, go with us, TA is guarding, we want you around..cause you are big and scary and can fight

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Pleased that she did not put up a fight. She motioned to S'Bien.:: Au are with me. Na agression, but look as though au are ready for a fight should io happen.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She released the door locks and after they opened, Laehval stepped out onto the station.::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: waits for them to exit and stand and straightens her uniform, adjusting the Kaleh and ie'yyak so they were clearly visible

Laehval tTemarr -> ::One hand on the dagger at her hip.::

EvietMahren -> ::pursing her lips as she sets down at the terminal and begins to work::

KhreRiovtRex -> ::follows the group which has exited and is now flanking the ramp, and walks down between them
