RES Talon Mission Briefing 51014.16 Season 19 The Talon has arrived in system and has communicated with the Galae Station. As the proper security protocols are intact, we must decide if we head there, or make for another location until we ascertain the situation in system.

KhreRiovtRex -> :: Turns and looks over to Leah :: We've only received vague warnings from those we trust, nobody has come right out with a direct warning. Either there is only suspicion of something wrong, or the level of danger is so extreme nobody chances expressing out loud.

KhreRiovtRex -> I've na picked up anything blatantly encoded since that earlier warning we received from Terronix when they left, and then the warning from that ship we rescued and sent the crew off with Stinger.

KhreRiovtRex -> I have a feeling the only way we'll know for sure, is to head in. If we act like we know there is a problem, it could endanger us all.

KhreRiovtRex -> Thoughts? :: looks to Leah, and around to the others rhae the oira::

Lerak trPexil -> :: Sends an engineering status update to Laehval's position ::

Laehval tTemarr -> We have been receiving mixed signals from the station and the planet, but na encoded. They were more garbled, as though someone was attempting to block the signal. Personally, I think we should report to the station to gather more intel.

KhreRiovtRex -> My thoughts as well. I think that no matter what we do, we at all times keep at least a portion of the crew on board, with orders na to let anyone, and I mean anyone aboard. I don’t' care what type of maintenance is ordered.

KhreRiovtRex -> ::turns to look at the screen again, wondering why she still has heard na from Var'lon, Terronix or any of their known allies::

M_K_tKsa -> ::in medical supervising the last of the sterilization of the usable parts of main medical::

KhreRiovtRex -> Koga........inform the station that we'll be heading over and taking up a parking orbit, that we will take a RAC over.

 

Koga S'Bien -> Ie, will do.

Koga S'Bien -> ::informs the station of their intentions::

KhreRiovtRex -> If they ask why we are na docking, tell them we've had an issue with some sort of vermin aboard and do na wish them to contaminate the station. Send them an image of io of those dead lizards if we still have io around. Have Pexil send that over from Science. We know they've been reported before, and if they check the records, we have a plausible excuse.

Koga S'Bien -> Ie, we have plenty of those images. I shall send them over.

KhreRiovtRex -> ::turns to Laeh:: I have a bad feeling about all of this...

KhreRiovtRex -> I mean, if someone had just wanted to object to t’Ksa's bonding...... ::trying to make light of the situation and knowing she was failing ::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She nodded, pleased with the plan, but having the same reservations as t'Rex.:: Ie, it makes io uneasy. We should conference with all department heads to inform them of the situation and how we will be proceeding.

Kheinsa Maec -> ::having changed into his uniform, he's sitting at a console going over his files since his office is currently off limits::

Koga S'Bien -> ::looks for the most recent photos of the dead lizards to send::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: enters her chambers and moves around behind her desk and sits heavily into the seat there.

Lerak trPexil -> :: Exits main engineering and entered the closest lift :: Oria

KhreRiovtRex -> ::keys in her private codes to reach Var'lon, and sends to both Galae Retor, his Headquarters and to their home in Varahd

M_K_tKsa -> ::is na happy that Maec is na resting, but he's tr'Paine's problem at the moment...although that does na stop her from scowling at him for a moment:: I have a meeting on the Oira. Fhaen try na to y'ya while I'm gone .

KhreRiovtRex -> ::waits but does na receive any response, growing concerned, it was unlike him na to authen, nor to have an assistant monitoring for him if unavailable. ::

Kheinsa Maec -> Ie, lhhei. :: although his eyes are on the etrehh screen, his smirk isn't sneaky enough to be hidden::

Lerak trPexil -> :: Pexil is dropped off on the oira and heads for the meeting room ::

M_K_tKsa -> ::shakes her head and heads out of main medical towards the turbolift:: Stubborn Kheinsa. ::uses most unladylike language under her breath as she enters the lift:: Oira.

 

KhreRiovtRex -> ::concern grows and starts contemplating pulling the ship from system and retreating until they hear something, fearing that the suspected plot between the Tal Shiar and Othan has progressed further than initial fears::

Lerak trPexil -> :: Enter the meeting room ::

Koga S'Bien -> ::attaches some recent photos of the dead lizards and sends them onto the station::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Stands as Lerak walks past and turns toward the conference room.:: S'Bien, join us as soon as au have transmitted those holos.

Koga S'Bien -> Ie, of course. ::transmits the last of the holos then gets a young erien to relieve him:: All sent.

Lerak trPexil -> :: He picks a seat ::

M_K_tKsa -> ::exits the lift after a momentary ride, straightens her uniform tunic as she heads towards Observation::

Koga S'Bien -> ::enters after Pexil and also takes a seat::

KhreRiovtRex -> ::sighs and stands to leave::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She moved into the observation room with the others, but did not sit immediately. Instead, she stood against the windows, back facing the planetscape hanging in the black of space.::

 

KhreRiovtRex -> ::looks at the holo of her family on the desk:: I hope au are both safe and well....::trails fingers across the holo and sets it back down.

KhreRiovtRex -> ::sets it down and heads out to the conference room::

M_K_tKsa -> ::enters the room, smiles briefly to Koga and Pexil before taking her seat, setting her ISD on the table in front of her::

Koga S'Bien -> ::Smiles and nods::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: sees others entering as she approaches, and follows them in::

tAehjae -> :: heads for the conference room. Having exited the TL::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: enters and makes eye contact with Laeh, then turning to look down at the planet below::

tAehjae -> :: sneaks into the room and quickly takes her seat::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She nodded to t'Rex and finally took her seat, leaning back a hair to get a look at everyone else.::

KhreRiovtRex -> ::turns back towards them and looks around the table:: Alright....here's what little we know.....which unfortunately, is less than what we don't know...

KhreRiovtRex -> When we left home last year, there was a bit of a political tug of war going on with either giving the outer colonies more autonomy, or as they had been a major part of revitalizing the homeworld after the Dominion War and subsequent encounters with other enemies, that they be given more power hrrau the Deihu and more say in the rule of the government.

KhreRiovtRex -> There had been rumors of forces building up in other regions, of fleets of unregistered ships being noted but not verified as those sent to find out had na returned.

KhreRiovtRex -> Even on homeworld and in conversation with the Daise'Khre'Riov....even while hrrau my own home, the threats and warnings reached us. Hence, why I was pulled from my retirement, used as bait, and our subsequent encounters with the Othan, recovering t'Ksa and other events that the StoneReaver, may they rest well in Vorta’Vor.....::shakes head to get back on track::

KhreRiovtRex -> There were whispers of plots afoot, but no proof. Our prize, the Stinger is some of the proof that we were sent to find, yet, it seems we were to be set up na to find. However, due to our fine crew, au and all of au staff...we beat their plans, and we have the ship. Au know who it belongs to…. There had been whispers of an attempted coup…and some of those rumors had been directed at the Daise’Khre’Riov and myself. Veruuls..trying to deflect from themselves…..but as there is na word from Galae command, I am worried.

KhreRiovtRex -> The problem now is......who to turn it over too. Communications for the most part are garbled and partially jammed. We get intermittent word from the Retor, Galae Headquarters and some from the orbital station.

KhreRiovtRex -> However we've chosen na to dock to help protect the ship from boarding from unwanted forces, free to leave in a hurry if needed....

KhreRiovtRex -> and I do NA want anyone BUT the Talon crew on this ship

KhreRiovtRex -> If au see anyone attempting to contact off ship or allow anyone in, au are to immediately take action to stop them.

KhreRiovtRex -> I believe we've cleared the ship of traitors, but io never knows how others will react when families are involved.

KhreRiovtRex -> At this time, Laeh and myself are expected to report to the station to debrief, and I think it would be good if a few of our other key officers were to join to keep up the appearance that we do na suspect a plot, or that we are staying strong together. I want limited crew off the ship, no more than those in this room, and perhaps na even all of us here to be safe to begin with

M_K_tKsa -> How much do au wish for us to share with our staff members?

KhreRiovtRex -> At this time, I think it might be prudent to leave at least t’Mahren and Maec aboard in case there is fighting.

KhreRiovtRex -> That is what I wanted to discuss with au here. I am na sure we want to worry the crew just yet if we are wrong, or have them all running home if we are right.

KhreRiovtRex -> Common sense would tell us some of our families may be targeted if there is indeed some sort of plot afoot.

KhreRiovtRex -> Laeh, thoughts?

Laehval tTemarr -> I would also like everyone to be mindful of communication between au and your family. If anyone receives anything useful, report it immediately. Depending on the situation, the status of the capitol, and any number of factions that might have control, we might receive help from unlikely sources or be betrayed by those we think trustworthy. However, even if au do na think the information au have is important, pass it along anyway.

KhreRiovtRex -> I will tell au, I have been unable to reach the Daise'Khre'Riov on homeworld or Terronix, I do na know what it means, but I mean to head to the station to see what news I might gain. Who will join me?

Laehval tTemarr -> They may attempt to contact au, and au will be tempted to reassure your family that au are well and safe, but refrain from doing so. We will be open to incoming communication only unless authorized by myself or the Enarrain. Anyone attempting to circumvent this will be dealt with accordingly. t'Aehjae, your team will be responsible for enforcing this while we are investigating elsewhere.

KhreRiovtRex -> I was using a special encrypted line. Contacting them before we find out more could endanger them for sure.

KhreRiovtRex -> ::turns to Leah:: I trust au can get this across to the crew......strict adherence to the policy, or I will shoot them myself
