RES Talon Mission Briefing 51410.09 - Season 19 - After the sudden explosion in medical and the failure of Talon's cloaking device, an emergency stop in a conveniently placed asteroid field gave the industrious crew a chance to set the ship to rights. Sickbay has now been decontaminated, thanks to the cooperative efforts of all departments. The medical team is busy with transferring all of their patients from the cramped auxiliary quarters to main sickbay. The Talon is now back under cloak and has set course for ch'Rihan. Sensors show both Galae and Othan vessels in the surrounding area, but either could be deadly to the Talon and the Stinger, its escorted prize. Minutes away from arriving at the planet, the Talon must soon decide who can be trusted to aid them and bring about the downfall of the traitorous Othan fleet.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Laehval sat in her chair on the bridge, rapping her fingers anxiously on the arm rest. She'd given up all pretense of keeping her mind occupied and was now staring at the main viewer as they traveled closer to ch'Rihan.::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::With a nod, she picked up her ISD and compiled a message, sending it to Lerak for encoding with instructions to initiate a tightbeam transmission to the Stinger.::

 

Laehval tTemarr -> ACTION> Koga begins receiving transmissions from the planet and the base in orbit, but some of the information is garbled and conflicting.

 

M_K_tKsa -> Until tr'Paine clears au for duty, au are staying right there. ::points at him, then the biobed::

Laehval tTemarr -> S'Bien, pick up the encoded transmission from engineering and send it to the Stinger on the tightbeam channel that the Daise'Engineer has just created.

Koga S'Bien -> ::receives the encoded transmission and sends it on to the Stinger via tightbeam:: Message sent.

tAehjae -> :: steps off the lift, nods to Laeh and tVatrix then makes her way to the Dheno console and fires it up::

Laehval tTemarr -> ACTION> The Stinger returned an acknowledgement of the Talon's message on the same channel. The Talon's specially modified sensors show the Stinger moving back into the asteroid field.

 

M_K_tKsa -> ::helps io of the other patients into a hover-chair for her transfer back to main medical, then grabs a second io and a beefy looking medtech to assist in transfering tr'Aieme into his own chair::

Kheinsa Maec -> ::accepts the help into a hover-chair grudgingly, the effort tiring him out more than he'd like to admit:: Au know I can walk, ie?

Koga S'Bien -> Stinger has acknowledged message.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She turned to t'Aehjae as she took her station.:: Is everything progressing as planned?

Laehval tTemarr -> ACTION> The orbital station comes within sensor range, but the messages from the planet were still mixed and confusing. It was as though two factions were fighting to control the communication array.

tAehjae -> Rekkai We are getting messages from the planet but they are mixed

Laehval tTemarr -> ACTION> Another message comes from the orbital station, directing all incoming Galae ships to check in there before heading to the planet.

 

tAehjae -> Koga Are au getting that message? The oi directing?

Koga S'Bien -> I am yes. ALl Galae ships are to check in prior to heading to ch'Rihan

M_K_tKsa -> ::heads up to the main medical bay with the last two patients being transfered back to their new homes, meanwhile she's also mentally making a list of all the things that still need to be done both to the main medical and the aux medical to put things to right again::
