MISSION BRIEFING: The Talon has had a problem with some power nodes in medical and about the ship, causing more strain on the cloak, and making the crew scramble to help those in the affected areas. Once this has been corrected, we plan to push towards home. One of the nodes exploded, filling the medical deck with toxic fumes. Security managed to get one of the trapped crewmembers out, but the other perished. Also, the deck was evacuated.

ACTION> Pexil's scheme with the transported medical personnel worked. By keeping them in the transporter buffer longer, he was able to filter out the gas that transported with them.

ACTION> The sudden drain from the transporters COUPLED with the drain of the force fields now in place start a chain reaction in the power matrix. First to collapse are the security fields, letting the gas flood the entire deck. But the cloak suffered greatly as well. It did not fail completely, but the power fluctuations began to destabilize it, making the Talon visible to anyone within short range that happened to be looking for them.
