RES Talon Mission Briefing 51408.14 -Season 19

 

The Talon and Stinger have turned towards homeworld and expect to make it back shortly and have been in communications with Galae, however, it's clear from some of the messages, that there is some sort of trouble at home. What that is, is unclear as the messages have been purposely left vague for now, most likely for security?

KhreRiovtRex -> Not seeing any more at this time, however, I've had some coded messages that the intent of some of our Tal Shiar brethren seems uncertain, and there seems to be some support for the Othan back home, due to the resources that they've been providing of late.

KhreRiovtRex -> I know, there had been some political ramifications, and certain members of that and other groups working against Galae, the Daise Khre'Riov, and several of the Deihu that did na openly support the Tal Shiar's attempt to give more power to the Othan as it seemed as though they were plotting to take a lead in the political power and with their resources and power block, try to move the capitol there.

KhreRiovtRex -> As it is, au remember when I came back aboard Talon, there were plots against the Daise Khre'Riov that put me back out here, as well as against some of this crew. If and when we return, we need to get information fast. And make sure we are on our guard til we find out what is going on

Laehval tTemarr -> After all that we have been through and all we have done to reach the homeworld with the Stinger, we can na fail. Na when we are so close. ::She glanced down to her ISD as the engineering report alerted her. Of course, she gave them her highest priority... but that was to be expected. While skimming the contents, she shook her head at t'Rexan's question. Na, nothing from home. But then I would na. I am na political. I have few contacts on the homeworld, or elsewhere for that matter.

M_K_tKsa -> That report I could na finish earlier - I wanted to finish it as soon as possible. I did na mean to run out like a thief in the night. I'm sorry.

KhreRiovtRex -> Still, we should use caution when we approach. Is the cloak in good enough shape that we can maintain it for some time as we approach?

M_K_tKsa -> I think that tr'Paine was able to hold things together in our absence. Still, I should na have waited to submit the casualty report, especially with tr'Dario's death, as long as I did.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She turned and entered the lift, sending it down to engineering. In the relative privacy, she leaned back and rested her head against the wall, looking up to the ceiling. When the lift finally slowed to a halt, she sighed and pushed off, striding through the doors into engineering.

KhreRiovtRex -> We may be heading into a bit of trouble, so I wish au to make sure that all crew have been equiped with both an ie'yakk and a kaleh, and that they keep them with themselves at all times.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Feels almost instantly at home, as she usually did in engineering, though was very aware at how few faces she recognized. The Talon had lost many during their battle and subsequent repairs. Clasping her hands behind her back, she moved to the bank of central consoles for a look, especially at the cloaking status.:: This looks promising...

KhreRiovtRex -> That would make sense for the most part, as we've mainly been running silent, though Terronix did deliver some messages, but far fewer than we expected. As we are still running under cloak I doubt we'd pick up many anyway. only when we cross by relay stations perhaps.

EvietMahren -> It was encoded using a Llohanna cipher. I cannot verify at the moment, but the identifiers belong to an... to someone I've trusted in the past.

M_K_tKsa -> tr'Paine, I want to get the auxiliary medical bay closed down as quickly as we can. We only have a few critical patients that can be moved up here. Can au oversee the closure and make sure that io of the meditechs do an inventory so we can start either replicating any necessary supplies, or create a list for the next supply station, fhaen.

EvietMahren -> I have been receiving the messages in burst transmissions, and it has taken quite a while to figure out what cipher they were using.
