RES Talon Mission Briefing 51407.31 - Season 19

 

The Talon, Stinger and StoneReaver have been joined in battle by the RES Marshan and have had to deal with 6 more of the 'Stinger' class ships. 2 of the ships have been destroyed, one heavily damaged and now the crew have set off their loaded shuttle as a distraction and hopefully damage more of the enemy ships...... However.....The Marshan and StoneReaver have taken heavy damage already and may not be able to go to warp with the Talon......Stinger is cloaked, 3 enemy ships are cloaked, Talon is trying to protect the Marshan and Stonereaver, but have just been notified that They both are having issues.

Lerak trPexil -> If we can get close enough we should be able to merge the shields if we match their frequency. One larger shield, then we can beam without lowering.

M_K_tKsa -> How close?

ACTION: Io of the enemy ships decloaks and fires again at the Marshan, determining that Stonereaver was dead in the water and lot leaving

M_K_tKsa -> Koga, Stonereaver first. They are in the most in danger. Get as close as au can, but if there's any sign that they've been compromised to the point that it will damage Talon then abort and head towards the Marshan.

Koga S'Bien -> Aye aye

tAehjae -> :: Fires immediately at the decloaking ship::

M_K_tKsa -> tr'Pexil, au will need to see if au can find the modulation on au's own. I can na ask them for their shield frequencies over open comms. We have enemy ships in the vicinity.

M_K_tKsa -> Then I need to here the status of those enemy ships, t'Aehjae, and leave the monitoring of the Galae ships to S'Bien and tr'Pexil.

ACTION: 2 SHIPS DECLOAK AND FIRE AT THE MARSHAN, ROCKING IT HARD, SHIELDS DROPPING TO 24%, AND THEN ONE OF THE SHIPS TURNS AND ATTEMPTS TO STRAIFE THE TALON WITH WEAONS FIRE

This is going to have to be coordinated then. t'Aehjae, on my mark I want au to fire on the Stonereaver, I'm hoping that will give us enough of a distraction to get the survivors off the Marshan. tr'PExil, as soon as you confirm that we have everyone, S'Bien, I need au to set us off on Warp away from the debris field.

ACTION: THE EXPLOSION DISRUPTS THE TACHYON FIELD ENOUGH THAT A FEW ANOMALIES ARE SEEN BY SENSORS, AND COULD BE THE ENEMY SHIPS...

ACTION: With the tachyon disruption showing where the cloaks ships are, Stinger decloaks and adds her firepower to that of the Talon, in in moments 2 of the 3 ships are destroyed. Io of the enemy ships heads and fires at Marshan which explodes

 

M_K_tKsa -> ((Koga........we can't have a cloak and shields up at the same time))

ACTION: TALON IS HEADED TOWARDS HOME AND STINGER FOLLOWING IN ITS WAKE AS THE LAST OTHAN SHIP APPARENTLY VEERS OFF AND RETREATS
