What's worse, unknown to the crew, the Ambassador has been abducted by an unknown party. Can the Challenger salvage anything from this disaster in the making?

Derrick Sabin -> Sir, Engineering's comm probes might be a good thing. All the engergy released into the atmosphere from the destroyed missiles is going to play havoc with communications.

John Randall -> ::nods, and looks around for Michaels, spots him, and calls him over:: Jeff, assemble yourself a crew, and get ready for some power shunting in case we get into a fight.

EddieFreeman -> +Randall+ You're go on the probes. The Captain wants information from both sides of this shooting match. Also, how feasible would it be to rig them with comm relays? There's massive interference, and some comm probes would help cut through the static.

John Randall -> +Freeman+ That's no problem, sir, the audio enhancers are already equipped for that. Tell communications to set their bandwidth to 1800 megahertz; that should do the trick. We can launch on your order.

Cptn Ja'Lale -> Can the EMPs also take out their jamming stations as well? Would make it easier for both sides to talk with each other.

Derrick Sabin -> Captain, with the air war on hold, Bimaal has the advantage on the ground, and it looks like their making the best of it.

Cptn Ja'Lale -> Hmm. Try again, and see if you can locate the Ambassador or any member of his team.

John Randall -> ::Sends Reed an e-mail; telling her the Challenger's sitting on a powder keg, from the looks of it::

Derrick Sabin -> Mr. Hok, if the Ambassador still has his comm badge, you might be able to lock on to it's unique Federation frequency.

H.G. Reed -> :: Receives an email reading it over carefully. ::

Derrick Sabin -> We could at least beam him up even if we can't actually talk to him.

Cptn Ja'Lale -> ::to Sabin:: I see that. Diplomatically, we should start immediate sanctions and freezing their assets. I'll forward my recommendations to Starfleet Command and we'll see what they think.

Dvokr chim Hok -> I am getting none of their signals, Neither him or the staff.

John Randall -> ::continues to monitor incoming data from the probes::

Cptn Ja'Lale -> ::nods to Hok:: Send a message to Starfleet with my recommendations to start immediate sanctions on Bimaal, their president, and top party officials.. sanctions, freezing of assets, etc and ask what they think.
