The Excalibur has continued to assist with the growing refugee crisis. A staff meeting (that's all of you) has been called to discuss ongoing operations.

Excalibur is arriving in orbit of Byriom with their task force to begin evacuating the people off the planet before the Dominion arrives and rains on everyone's parade.

The evacuation and conversion of the science labs into Noah's Ark has gone mostly according to K'Hal's schedule, save for a small mix up that resulted in much of the bridge crew learning several new Caitian curses. We are preparing for our fleet of nearly 45 vessels to depart. There is a small group of civilians who have decided to stay behind, and we are transporting some supplies to them before we leave. Engineering is helping repair one of the larger civilian transports navigational deflectors while medical continues to deal with an influx of patients.

The convoy of refugees has began exiting the system. At the same time, the Dominion have arrived, ahead of schedule. One of the Bajoran transports, the Plains of Somilar (sp?) however, has had trouble with their systems and is lagging behind. The Dominion fleet will over take them before they clear far enough to jump to warp. The Excalibur and her fighter group have fallen out of formation, putting themselves between the Dominion and PoS.

We are now only a week or so out from our drop off point for the convoy at the New Bajor colony. Our own voyage has been safe and relatively uneventful, though everyone is getting a bit stir crazy after nearly three weeks at ~warp 4~ with periodic breaks and breakdowns of the aging convoys.

Meanwhile, around us, the situation continues to remain dire as more systems fall back under the yoke of the Dominion, and fighting between the Dominion and the Hundred has sporadically broken out. Their are also ongoing reports that suggest a third and possibly fourth faction, far more militant, have sprung up within the Dominion, and whole planets have been found desolated.

Last week, Excalibur and the fleet learned that due to the escalating violence in the Gamma Quadrant, the Federation Council and Starfleet have begun evacuations of non-essential personnel, and are drawing up evacuation plans for the various colonies and outposts in the region. The Bajoran colony on New Bajor, where our fleet was formerly headed is among those, and so, we have instead altered course for the wormhole. We are currently in a holding pattern outside the terminus, near the former construction site of Starbase Lyonesse, prepping the fleet for the passage through the wormhole.

The Excalibur is preparing to escort the final wave of transports through the wormhole to DS9. We have rigged a shuttle to work as a tow-truck of sorts for some of the more... decrepit transports, which will lead them through. We will be following behind them.

The crew has been, unofficially, on leave at DS9 for several days awaiting orders. More Federation and Klingon ships have arrived, bolstering the defenses, while a steady stream of colonists from the Gamma Quadrant, as well as Starfleet personnel who have been deemed "non-essential," continue to flow through the station.

The cattle call has been issued and the crew have received notice to return to their stations. No official word has came out from command, but scuttle is our orders have been cut. Outside the station, another group of Federation ships has recently arrived, and our former chargers -- the refugee transports -- are in the process of moving out of DS9 orbit for a temporary stay on one of Bajor's many moons.

Excalibur is en route to Camelot Station once more. Everyone is a bit disappointed to be returning, including the Captain, who's been gruffer than usual.

While en route to Camelot, Excalibur intercepted a distress call from the Federation's flagship in the quadrant, the command and control, Aventine-class USS Vatican, under the command of Irae Varen. They were under attack from Jem'Hadar forces, but also being co-defended by them. Excalibur managed to even the numbers. The attacking Dominion forces retreated as Semil -- of the Hundred -- arrived with several additional vessels. Now we look to find out what we walked into, and to tend to our damage and wounded.

The Excalibur has escorted the Vatican back to Camelot Station, which remains rather zoo-like. No rest for the wicked, it seems, however as we were greeted with a message that Vice-Admiral Misha Abronvonvich will be coming aboard shortly to meet with Captain Swain and Commander Hawthorne personally. The crew has been ordered to catch their breath, help unload wounded passengers, and maybe have tea if they can manage it.

Excalibur has been given orders, though the official nature of them has not yet been widely circulated. After a brief layover, Excalibur is preparing to leave once more. Curiously, a large portion of the crew have been rotated off so that the crew is running on a much smaller crew. Additionally, engineering has been given a new toy, mysteriously.

Excalibur is now getting deeper into Dominion territory, but Tandaris and his team are ready to bring the cloak online, and we are hopeful this will let us pass unnoticed though Moria ... err Dominion space.

With their cloaking device installed -- though it has caused some power consumption issues, which engineering continues to work on -- the Excalibur has slipped quietly across the vastness of Dominion-controlled space, as yet unnoticed. We're still several days out from our target destination.

Excalibur is closing in on the target system. We have continued to avoid detection, but long range sensors have detected a Jem'Hadar patrol in the area.

The Excalibur away team has arrived on a frigid ice world, deep within the Dominion frontier where they are attempting to locate a lost Starfleet team. First, however, they are on the lookout for the team's native handler to determine if he is still alive and if he has any idea what happened to the team.

An Away Team from Excalibur has taken a shuttle down to an icy Dominion-controlled planet in an attempt to find the location of missing Starfleet officers. They've just taken transport down to a mining colony that was dug beneath the surface. A complex series of tunnels and chambers sprawls in all directions like a vast underground city.

The away team has descended below the icy hellscape above into the heart of the Dominion base where they are looking for a missing Starfleet team, but first they must find the teams handler, who could be the key to uncovering their whereabouts.

While looking for a missing Starfleet team on an icy Dominion mining planet, the AT from Excalibur has made contact with an alien who apparently knew they were coming. Their search for the missing team's handler, Sral Dhal, has come to an abrupt end as they have just discovered the man is no longer among the living. Their only lead, and presumably ally, is a curious little moleman that's been following them.

While looking for a missing Starfleet team on an icy Dominion mining planet, the AT from Excalibur has made contact with an alien who apparently knew they were coming. They've been told that the team's handler, Sral Dhal, is dead. Their new contact (and hopefully ally) is leading part of the team to saver quarters where they can discuss the situation. The others have availed themselves of the luxurious hot springs, relaxing, but with the intention of winkling out information from the locals about the station. While it is said to be Dominion controlled, they've seen no evidence of Jem'Hadar or Vorta in the colony.

Part of the away team has continued their meeting with Finnus, while the other part continues their afternoon in the hot springs, where they appear to have made a rather disturbing discovery.

The Excalibur crew continues its search for the missing Starfleet crew. Part of the crew is watching a rat hockey match, while the other team is about to begin searching the contact for the team's house.

Part of the team has discovered a hidden laboratory which seems to have been given the one over by a hostile party. They also located a mix of Dominion and Federation technology in the lab, including a set of stasis pods with traces of Vorta DNA. Meanwhile, the rest of the team has begun searching the home of the Starfleet team's contact and think they have found something promising.
