=/\= MANTICORE BRIEFING #274, STARDATE 50309.08 =/\=  The Manticore is in Romulan space to hunt down illegally obtained Federation technology, sold to them by former Consul General Melville, who has survived, somehow, his own death. The ship was captured, the engines disabled and shuttlebay doors fused shut.  The Romulans took the crew captive except for a dozen people, hidden under personal cloaking devices.  This rescue squad succeeded in recapturing the Manticore engine room and repairing the engines for a fast getaway.  They have also rescued the crew by anesthetizing everyone on the Manticore and the Romulan flagship that is docked with it.  The crew has been transported back to the Manticore, but tie is running out before the other enemy ships notice that something is amiss.  =/\= END MANTICORE BRIEFING #274, STARDATE 50309.08 =/\=
