RES Talon Mission Briefing 51310.10 - Season 18:

Livid at having been beamed away from her ship during the bomb scare, Laehval has returned to the Talon to have a few heated words with a certain engineer. With the sensor upgrade installed and functional, the Talon's next task is to run test scans to see if they are able to detect the particular metallic element that is used in the construction of Othan ships. Helm has been given coordinates by the Stonereaver to accompany them to a remote asteroid field where some deposits of the metal can be found. Science has been tasked with aiding engineering in adjusting the sensors and monitoring the ship's internal systems. All of the Stonereaver crew, including the amorous captain, have returned to their own ship during the brief journey.

ACTION> The coordinates given to Talon by the Stonereaver take them deep into an asteroid field. A little dangerous for such a large ship, but they had Koga at the helm. (Koga, give me a number from 1 - 10 )

ACTION> Koga's steering gets them in the first few meters, but the going gets tougher as the asteroids grow in size and number.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Striding into Engineering with a dangerous look on her face, one that her former lackeys knew all too well, Laehval glared about in search of Lerak and narrows her eyes as she spots him examining the explosive device. She stalked over.:: Au have successfully disarmed it?

Koga S'Bien -> ::slows speed and scans the area, plotting the asteroids in the ship's immediate vicinity::

Lerak trPexil -> The other engineer helped, but scans indicate it's inert.

Laehval tTemarr -> ACTION> The asteroid's gravitational spin causes it to bounce off the Talon, especially as the shields weren't raised. The entire ship shakes and proximity alarms blare.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She stared for a moment longer, unclenching her fist. Realizing how close she was to decking him for his insubordination, she made a mental note to speak with the Kheinsa. With the work they'd done together, she shouldn't have such a short fuse. Holding onto the table from the blow, she tapped her communicator. +S'Bien+ What is going on up there?
