(OOC Note: Byblos does not have the full picture of what is going on..So some of his idle thoughts might be incorrect due to lack of being on the bridge..or not understanding everything Starfleet Marine!)

 

Big Guy is a "Small Fry"

 

The Nausicaan had retired from the Marines HQ deck to his quarters. He figured he would be just in the way if he stood down there any longer. He gathered up all the details he could possibly of understood on what just transpired between the Freighter inspection and the Destruction of the Luxury Liner Olympic Carrier.

 

The Olympic Carrier was no small Luxury Liner. It was comparable in size to the Comanche Creek and he thought he heard over Marine chatter that it could hold 900 people. It was devoid of any life from what Marine Central was discussing and Radiological. Sgt Vega told him that meant it was carry Nukes and was essentially in his opinion being used as a large Nuclear Missile targeting Starbase Harrington, the Comanche Creek's homebase.

 

Byblos was in awe over who could pull of such an operation, that thankfully was foiled by the Comanche Creek. The failure of destroying the Creek's homebase may not of been a complete failure of whomever was responsible for this attack. He had never heard of any organization large enough to steal a Cruise Liner or such size, murder it's crew..and have the nuclear armaments

capable of destroying one of Crash's Federation Starbases.

 

Let alone given how long the Liner had been missing, where had it been? And how did such Liner's distress systems get thwarted. The scope of the act the Comanche Creek just foiled was mind boggling to Byblos. Wasn't he supposed to be the criminal expert on board the Creek now?

All he could advise the Captain was the freighter was "cleaned" but we failed to get her ship logs which probably were wiped clean anyways. Also state his opinion that it was no Orion Cartel that carried out this act that he was aware of. The job was too big in his small time merc profession.

 

Byblos could only hope that Crash's Federation would not take this lightly and send more vessels to deter such another brazen act...by an unknown foe.
