STSF_BluRox -> USS Republic Mission Briefing 51309.09 - The Republic has been making good time towards the Hovius system to investigate what damage has been wrought by the rogue comet, and have ordered the ship stopped a sector before where they had previously picked up subspace disturbances while they made their hasty retreat earlier. We thought this best, so as not to come out of warp in the middle of a subspace disaster area. WE pick up....as Koga (who I believe is moving today and has no internets) was slowing us...so ...someone...take the helm please.

I was even tempted to try one of the replicated synthol drinks, even though I am allergic........And once you've given me something that will help, I believe that you will be needed in the brig. It seems, a number of our officers, have been in an altercation and have done some damage to each other.

I've only ever seen waves of that magnitude before, in the Stafford system, and they don't expect anyone to be able to maintain warp travel in that sector for a few hundred years. We may be looking at a very major problem here. 3 very important systems may very well be cut off to regular space travel
