USS MANTICORE BRIEFING #768, STARDATE 51307.15

The Manticore is in the Serengeti sector where the mining ship,

Kumquat, was found with no power and it's crew using a cargo

container as a lifeboat. We next found the Daventry research

station off it's mooring coordinates and also with no power. Their

crew all perished and we have discovered that the station lost

power 4 hours before the mining ship. We have tracked down the

cloud/swarm that the Kumquat crew spoke of and lost a probe that

we sent into it. It does not seem to acknowledge our presence.
