STSF_BluRox -> USS Republic Mission Briefing 51306.03 – Season 21 A monstrously huge comet is on a heading to hit one of our prime dilithium mining and processing settlements. With the amount of ore that the Federation is storing there, it could rip subspace bad enough to disrupt space travel through this and nearby sectors for decades. The Republic has been ordered to head to the Hovius Asteroid Belt, and though it is too dense to take the ship in to many of the locations, we will be sending shuttles and what small ships we have to undertake a multipart mission. Some will be rescuing settlers and miners, while others in larger ships will be trying to salvage some of the more important platforms and storage barges.

STSF_BluRox -> + Away Teams+ The bigger warp capable ships will be assigned to trying to tow some of the major ore platforms and equipment from the area, Starfleet corp of engineers wants that salvaged!!

STSF_BluRox -> +Away Teams+ Those in the smaller ships, you will be assigned to moving settlers and mining personnel.

 

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::smiles, glad she got one of the larger ships like she wanted::

Dr Tisa Sen -> ::checks her out::

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::grabs her gear and heads down to the shuttle bay::

Dr Tisa Sen -> ::reassures her and gives her a mild analgesic:::

Christina_Nickles -> ::nods as is told what she would be piloting:: Will I’m heading over to start the walk around and preflight on my assignment.

LtCmdrRobinson -> (coincidentally when I googled a '9a shuttle' to see what it looked like the first result was: skyjax )

Heather Jamieson -> (sounds like her callsign)

LtCmdrRobinson -> ::nods at Christina::

Christina_Nickles -> :: moves over to her shuttle and begins its preflight::

Tory Knight -> ::having set up a mapping program to track the comet, and pull down data for later analysis, then heads to the shuttle bay so that she can commence her portion of the current mission::

Heather Jamieson -> :: Takes her colorful self to run preflight checks. ::

Dr Tisa Sen -> ::assigns a nurse to her and gets her kits together::

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::enters the shuttle bay, nodding to those already there as she makes her way to the Wyvern and begins pre-flight checks::

August Jax Robinson -> ::Finishes her preflight crap and tosses gear inside::

Heather Jamieson -> :: Opens the rear hatch ::

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::looks at Heather, it's really hard not to notice her:: Looking.. good?

Dr Tisa Sen -> ::heads to the shuttle::'

Christina_Nickles -> :: completes the walk around the shuttle then climbs inside.::

LtCmdrRobinson -> ::powers up the Unicorn::

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::walking around the shuttle, doing her walk around::

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::completes her walk around and enters into the Wyvern, continuing her pre-flight checks in the cockpit, checks completed, powers up the Wyvern::

Dr Tisa Sen -> ::Shoulders the kits as she enters the bay::

STSF_BluRox -> +Away Teams+ As the Republic cannot go into the belt, we will be stationed here as a command location, and as we reach our limit on space here on the ship, we'll move them to the nearest star base, same with the ore platforms

Christina_Nickles -> :: listens to the instructions being passed along::

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::also listening intently, scans the objects to be salvaged on sensors to get a scope of the job in hand::

Christina_Nickles -> :: completes her preflight and begins her start up procedure::

Heather Jamieson -> :: laughs :: Yes Kasuga. :: gets into her shuttle ::

Christina_Nickles -> :: watching over the consoles as everything starts up::

Tory Knight -> ::entering the shuttlebay, glances down at her PADD, noting which shuttle she's been assigned::

 

STSF_BluRox -> Bridge> Clearance is given to depart, be sure to coordinate with each other to make sure you cover all areas, you may wish to work jointly

Heather Jamieson -> :: Looks out the forward window, sees the bay door in the distance ::

Dr Tisa Sen -> ::Enters the Basilisk::

LtCmdrRobinson -> ::takes the first clearance spot and launches::

Heather Jamieson -> +Rep+ Harpy ready to depart.

Ayumu Kasuga -> +bridge+ Acknowledged. ::joins the queue and launches soon after the Unicorn::

Christina_Nickles -> :: Waits for the shuttle pod in front of her launch::

Dr Tisa Sen -> ::Sits in her seat and nods to her pilot::

Tory Knight -> ::keys the entry sequence and the door opens...climbs aboard and slips into the pilots seat, pulling up the pre-flight checklist::

STSF_BluRox -> (Remember, you are in charge of getting out these settlers and miners. Some may not wish to go, some may wish to hole up and go to ground. Others will be fully willing to help you out. YOu need to organize and coordinate your part of the rescue)

STSF_BluRox -> :: pulls up star map to grid over where the teams are :::

Christina_Nickles -> ::gets to the docking area and docks ready for them to climb in::

Dr Tisa Sen -> ::Exits her shuttle and looks around at the bunches of the people and explains how they need to evacuate:

Ayumu Kasuga -> !@#$%^&*() ::slows and hangs back while Nickels moves in and gets the personnel off the platform::

Heather Jamieson -> :: Exits to a small group of miners :: I'm Lt. Jamieson from the USS Republic. I'm here to evacuate this platform of personnel before the comet arrives. I can take four of you at a time.
