USS Challenger Mission Briefing: 19 May 2013

USS CHALLENGER MISSION BRIEFING: 19 May 2013

24 July 1969 (8 days since launch)

Eight days has passed since the successful launch of the Apollo 11 rocket. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin performed their moon landing without a hitch under the close (but hidden) eye of the Challenger, and the Apollo crew are set for their landing in the Pacific Ocean after their time on the moon. They are almost out of the woods, but not quite. Also, there is still the matter of getting back to the 23rd century after all is said and done...

TBS was 8 days
