Capt Rian Kwai -> Mission Briefing: The crew of the Republic has received special invitation from Cultural Ambassador Imen: A VIP tour of the Icelea Grotto, one of Risa’s little known geological wonders. After a little jostling around, Admiral BluRox will be heading up an away team consisting the senior staff members (aka – all active players). The Republic Shuttle Piasa will have reached it’s docking port at the planet at the start of the sim to meet up with Ambassador Imen and his team.

Jameson Bardolph -> ::starts moving slowly off the shuttle::

 

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::looks to see where Blu is pointing to, then powers down the shuttle's engines and logs off::

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::Grabs her stuff, then waits for the others to exit::

Capt Rian Kwai -> ACTION>The Secretary leads the group down the path towards a building jammed into a large crack in the Cliffside in front of them. The building, while imposing in nature, is not nearly as intimidating as the rock outcropping, waterfall and cliff in front of them.

Capt Rian Kwai -> ACTION> Once entering the building, the temperature jumps considerably...almost too hot for comfort. Almost, but not quite.

 

STSF_BluRox -> Ooooo.....suddenly nice and warm......Oh, so much better.....

Jameson Bardolph -> ::takes the blast of hot air in the face as the door opens in front of them, shakes his head rapidly::

Christina_Nickles -> :: after entering the building pulls a bit at her collar::

STSF_BluRox -> ACTION:: AS CERTAIN PEOPLE BEGIN TO WARM UP IN THE VERY HOT AND HUMID ENVIRONMENT, AND DUE TO CERTAIN MEDICATIONS GIVEN THEM BY MEDICAL, THE HEAT SEEMS TO BE STARTING TO CAUSE THE COLORATION IN THE GREEN GIRLS, TO SOMEWHAT BEING TO BREAK DOWN, CAUSING THEM TO LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE BLOTCHY BLUE AND YELLOW SPOTS ALL OVER THE LIGHT GREEN:;

 

Capt Rian Kwai -> Secretary Gravois> As you can probably tell, the cave is extremely hot with air temperatures reaching up to 136 °F with 90 to 99 percent humidity. Special cooling packs are needed to traverse the caverns on foot, and even then most humanoids can only withstand temperatures for 10 minutes without proper protection.

Capt Rian Kwai -> Secretary Gravois> ::to Bardolph:: Our scientists are still studying the cave, but we think there is a geothermal element to it. It also plays a big part in creating the ideal temperature for our visitors on Risa outside of the caverns.

Capt Rian Kwai -> ACTION>The shuttle is cooler than the cave temperature. Inside are several rows of seats similar to a tour bus, but with comfy cushions and more leg room.

 

Ayumu Kasuga -> I see.
