"Leading to Problems"

He felt to be a failure as a leader. Before the first hearing had even started, Demore felt as if he were a failure. He could here Commander Ayers voice in his head, going "Mind keeping them under control, Mr. Demore?" over and over. Why hadn't Demore done something to begin with?

 

The he thought about this. He had tried.

 

Demore reached into his pocket, pulling out three PADDs. One was his: the others were Brex's and Zertz's. Demore had taken the PADDs from the two other Engineers before the hearing had even started, realizing they would become bored during the hearing.

 

This time, Demore wouldn't make the same mistake. Thinking you have failed to perform your duty is one thing, but when a superior officer notices too... then you have to face the facts.

 

Demore pulled out his PADD, laying the other two on the desk. He began to write:

 

Myself, Midshipman Zertz, and Midshipman Brex will not be attending the remaining hearings concerning Ensign Mogg. This is a decision I have made myself, given the actions of the two Midshipman's at the last hearing. If you have questions regarding this decision, please consult myself.

 

He sent the PADD message to the Commander GromVik, and to the announcement center in the Holodeck... just incase someone noticed the missing engineers.

 

Demore sat down for a moment. He surely didn't like the way Brex and Zertz acted at the hearing, and chances are... they'll find out how discouraged Demore is about this.

 

He walked out the door, and back to the Renc Wing.
