All good solders must leave

Computer begin log, 1st Lt James Black

Ahh, finally a day to relax, if I can say that. I still have 5 transfer orders/requests, which I still need to Major Ziggy stardust about. And if that isn’t bad enough, I need to finish making my new holographic training program, a simulation of the 2002 war on Terrorism in Iraq. If I don’t finish this in a few days, when we start using it for training, what type of an example am I setting for my company? And this confinement to quarters isn’t making this any easier. I’ll find out when I go to bring the requests and orders for transfers to the major if I can leave my quarters to finish of the program. ::Sts down by the computer and looks over to the wall with weapons used by street gangs and military world wide in about the year 2000. A Uzi, MP5 and a M24. Gets up and goes over to the wall and gets the M24, and plays with the sight, and dissembles and reassembles the gun. The clicks can be heard in the background, and the door chime ring. ::

“Come.” I replied still playing with the M24.

::One of my marines, Lance Corporal Murray come in and solutes::

“Relax, I don’t care about rank right now, not on duty. She nice ::Holds out the M24:: isn’t she. Weapon of choice by the ghosts, elite green berate snipers. Whats on your mind?”

“Well, I received a transfer order from the chief of marines. When we report to the star base, I am to disembark, then take a runabout to rendezvous with the U.S.S Yautamo.”

“Can I see the padd.” ::grabs the padd, and looks to see if it official, and it is” Well, its official, so I cant do anything about that. You are my 6th marine I am losing. Good luck.” ::before he leaves I shack his hand, not the solute::

Well now I have lost 6 of my marines, the corps must not like me, or my marines a so good, they only stay hear for a few missions. I prefer the second one.”

::I go and put away the M24, then grab all of the pads for transfers, and walk to Major Stardust’s office. I walk to his office and chime::

“Come”

:: I walk in solute:: “Major, I giving you all of my transfer orders and requests from marines in my company. All 6 of em.”

“6, why so many!”

“I don’t know sir, I was hoping you knew why I have so many. It’s frustrating. I train em, and then they leave. I can never fully develop trust and skill in em sir. I get worried about sending em into battle. That would almost be sentencing my company to die”

“ I see what you mean. Let me see them.” :: I hand Ziggy all of the orders ::

“ Can you, or Lt. Cornel Quest try and do something, so that I can actually have trust and faith in my marines?”

“I’ll try, is that all?”

“I actually I have one other question.”

“What is that?”

“ I was wondering if I have permission to leave my quarters to finish a training program of mine?”

“Go ahead, as long it is considered  light duty

“DISSMISED”

::I solute, then walk out wondering if I will ever be able to keep the same marines for longer than a month. Then, I go to finish my program::
