I have finished my first shift on board the Aegis and I must say they are a strange group of people. My first shift was a court marshal and I’m afraid to say but a lot of them seemed oblivious to that and spent the entire time giving each other strange looks and glares. It seems I may have my work set out for me at this post but I am sure it was just a one time occurrence and it was all only because of the court marshal for that causes stress on all those in and around it well that I hope.

 

I have sent a letter to my sister just minutes before sitting down to do this log which was great that I finally had time with all this unpacking and my first duty I had little time to do it but I had 22 hours from duties which was quite nice. My first duty was quite simple stand by the door and watch the hearing I hope I get a little more excitement in the coming days ::laughs:: hopefully not too much though don’t want my family grieving my loss after a week at my post.

 

I think I should attempt to meet some of the crew on my off hours if I can find anyone. I might try to get my physical done by that doctor who contacted me earlier a Doctor Images I presume seems like a nice enough fellow. I might also make a visit to the bar sometime this week see what they have up there and maybe meet some people while I’m at it well I think I should get some work done and write up a security report.
