STARDATE: 1012.14 MISSION BRIEF: Excalibur has been ordered to head to DS9 to pick up a new rotation of crew members, including an as yet to be named executive officer. In the interim, being down both a Chief Engineer and and XO, Captain Swain has named Chief of Security Ryan Messner as his acting XO for the trip to DS9. With any luck, the 40 ly trip from Camelot to the Wormhole will be uneventful.
