Why hadn't Var'lon come for her yet? She knew she told him na to come. Told him to stay and protect their son; but deep down, she had thought he'd have sent some help by now.::

The guards turned and left, and tr'Gilas knelt beside the woman drooling uncontrollably on the floor.

 

"The mighty t'Rex...... au disappoint me. I grew up hearing stories of what a monster au could be, yet, fahd, all I see, is a small woman drooling on the floor at my feet. But, do na worry," reaching down he yanked her back up onto the seat, "We have so very much to share, don't we?"

 

As he leaned his face in close to her, his fetid breath about to make her ill of itself, she tried to spit hrrau his face, but did na have the energy, muscle control or even the spittle remaining to do so.

 

"Oh, that won't do at all, na at all. Au will have to learn some respect. I had another once before like au, and I knew how to deal with her as well. Here...let this be au first lesson." tr'Gilas reached over and pressed the agonizer against her neck, sending her into a spasming mess onto the floor once again. "Oh yes, we are going to have such a good time, however; I am hungry now but will return after I've eaten. Perhaps au should think about au response next time, and what it should properly be." With that, tr'Gilas left the room, the door hissing shut behind him, as she was unable to even lift her head from the floor.
