RES TALON Simlog 51208.30

RES Talon Mission Briefing 51208.30 - Security, Engineering, and Science have worked together to scan the Enarrain’s RAC and have found two different DNA traces -- one belonging to t’Vatrix and the other to an unknown male -- proving that someone else was on board and likely abducted the Enarrain. Engineering is in charge of running forensics analysis on the explosives planted in the shuttle, which may yield clues to where they were manufactured. The RAC’s sensor logs have been downloaded to the Talon and are available for security to review. Science has been tasked with running the unknown DNA source through the databanks in hopes of finding a match. The Talon has reversed course and is currently searching for any traces of the ship they know was following the Enarrain's.

Laehval tTemarr -> Any questions?

KhreRiovtRex -> Ie....How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop>

KhreRiovtRex -> ::ducks::

M_K_tKsa -> 3

Laehval tTemarr -> One. Two. -crunch- Three.

Lerak trPexil -> Thank you Mr. Owl.

Laehval tTemarr -> Alright, let's get started.

Laehval tTemarr -> BEGIN SIM

Laehval tTemarr -> BEGIN SIM

Laehval tTemarr -> BEGIN SIM

tAehjae -> +Demi+ tAehjae to tShia

Koga S'Bien -> ::on course, and keeping a close eye on sensors::

NDak -> (( afk for a second ))

Demi t'Shia -> +t+ Ie, Rekkhai?

tAehjae -> +tShia+ Check to see if the RAC logs have completed Downloading. If so start going over them while I finish here with the RAC Itself.

tAehjae -> ::moves over to Pexil:: can you tell what type the bomb is?

M_K_tKsa -> ::in her quarters, feeling penned in::

Lerak trPexil -> :: The explosive device now resided in an engineering lab. Crew milled around the outer rim of the lab as tr'Pexil worked at the table where the explosive sat. Most of the device lay spread apart. ::

Demi t'Shia -> +t+Ie daise. (afk for a sec)

KhreRiovtRex -> @ ::glaring at tr'Gilas::

Lerak trPexil -> Ie. A plasmid gel, suspended and inter until the right combination of charge is given.

Lerak trPexil -> (inert)

tAehjae -> Where is this type of device manufactured?

tAehjae -> or By Whom?

Lerak trPexil -> This gel is relatively common in this sector and others. Not a great deal of help. There are other components that may yield better results.

Koga S'Bien -> ::taking scans of the area::

NDak -> ::In the science lab running a full spectrum analysis of the DNA sample.::

M_K_tKsa -> (guess she glared too hard)

Koga S'Bien -> (that's some serious glaring )

Lerak trPexil -> :: In Pexil hand lay a bundle of optical cable. He placed it under a powerful microscope. ::

Lerak trPexil -> :: Looking in the eyepiece :: Hmm.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Leaving t'Ksa to herself (for the time being), Laehval found her way to the science lab and paused a moment, searching for Issaha.::

tAehjae -> explain

Lerak trPexil -> A lower grade of cable... Older, but would not need to be anything fancy.

KhreRiovtRex -> @ ::struggles against the restraints, but only succeds in making them tighter.::

M_K_tKsa -> ::talking to herself as she paces, becoming agitated::

Demi t'Shia -> (watchin w/ice on wrist)

Lerak trPexil -> :: Correlates the vendor markings on the optical cable to those that manufactured it. A display of the local and surrounding sectors fill with yellow dots at locations of manufacture. ::

NDak -> ::He frowned as yet another database turned up nothing.::

Koga S'Bien -> ::rubs chin.. not finding anything in this area, keeps scanning and driving on::

Laehval tTemarr -> Daise N'Dak. ::She approached Issaha, canting her head slightly view the results on his screen.:: Any luck?

NDak -> ::He shook his head and pushed himself back from his console::

NDak -> Na yet.

NDak -> As I suspected, it does na readily match anything easily available.

Lerak trPexil -> :: Cross references the gel and optical cable locations :: Ugh, that's still a lot. :: Looks at t'Aehjae :: I'll have to go through the parts one by one.

Lerak trPexil -> :: Another part of the explosive device lay under a green-beam scanner ::

M_K_tKsa -> tr'Aieme>::working on a psych profile::

Lerak trPexil -> I'm also separating any residue of those that touched this, save for t'Shia's. :: Pexil frowned at mentioning her ::

M_K_tKsa -> ::decides to escape her quarters and her thoughts and sets off for main medical::

Laehval tTemarr -> Na surprising. ::She clasped her hands behind her back.:: It struck me that we might need to gain deeper access. If we used the same relay codes that we accessed when searching for t'Ksa, do you think we could tap into other areas that aren't open for public view?

Lerak trPexil -> Ah. :: The scanner is finished:: Let's see about this one.. a processor that monitored what triggers would set the bomb off.

NDak -> ::Grins::

NDak -> I was going to ask au what thought of that.

NDak -> Surely the Galae has its own records of who it thinks are Tal'Shiar agents?

M_K_tKsa -> ::manages to enter without notice and heads to the therapy pool::

Lerak trPexil -> :: eyes wide :: Ah, this little bugger is only made at a select few locations.. and time periods.

Laehval tTemarr -> I am certain that they probably do, though much would be speculation as the Tal Shiar tends to eradicate any traces on their end. Still, while we have the access, it would be stupid of us na to use them. tr'Vatrix would na fault us for using all options available to us to retrieve his mate.

NDak -> ::Nods:: Ie.

Koga S'Bien -> Hmm.

NDak -> We might be able to do some cross referencing as well.

Koga S'Bien -> Like finding a needle in a haystack, or so the old Lloahn'nna phrase goes.

NDak -> With known associates of the io we have rhae our br'tehh.

KhreRiovtRex -> (gah, connection)

Laehval tTemarr -> Ie. I have na had the chance to speak with her, but I understand that she is tight-lipped in these matters. Understandably so.

Lerak trPexil -> :: t'Aehjae's lack of response could only mean he's bored her to sleep ::

Koga S'Bien -> (Au sure got a way with the ladies, eh tr'Pexil? XD )

M_K_tKsa -> (ruh roh)

Lerak trPexil -> (Just warming them up for ya Koga)

NDak -> ::nods::

Laehval tTemarr -> ACTION> When scanning the detonation processor from one of the explosives, the computer detects traces of a particular mineral that is not part of any of the components, but rather seems to be residue of some sort.

M_K_tKsa -> (So he can insult them later by not calling them by name)

Koga S'Bien -> ( lol)

NDak -> We may also be able to cross-reference with known Othan associates.

NDak -> ::Bites his lip::

NDak -> There is another option.

NDak -> Or avenue rather.

Lerak trPexil -> Hmm.. What is that? :: The scanner alerted him of something not a part of the detonation processor::

M_K_tKsa -> ::after changing, slips into the water and starts doing laps::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Arches a brow.:: Ie?

Lerak trPexil -> :: Instructs the scanner to analyze a residue not a part of the processor or the process in making it ::

Demi t'Shia -> ::finished dwnldng rac logs, at console in dheno, reading thru times, watching acton, making notes to time::

M_K_tKsa -> (Sorry guys. I gotta go. I will be back next week)

Koga S'Bien -> (Goodnight tKsa)

M_K_tKsa -> (night!)

Lerak trPexil -> Now to see what this material.. crystal... mineral is. :: Sets the scanner on a mass spectrometer setting... the processing will take a while ::

Koga S'Bien -> :doing some exploratory scans of this area of space in which they were currently occupying::

NDak -> ::Considers::

NDak -> There is a Tal'Shiar agent aboard this ship.

Laehval tTemarr -> ACTION> While Pexil's deeper scans continue to run, preliminary analysis of the mineral indicates that it came from a particular area in Othan space.

NDak -> His presence is, to my knowledge, only known to myself and the Khre'Riov. I was instructed to use him to pass information to my sister about our... progress.

Lerak trPexil -> :: Looks at his display :: Ah, a violet dot...one location.

Lerak trPexil -> +t'Temarr+

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Her expression suddenly grew dark at Issaha's words.:: +Lerak+ Go ahead.

Lerak trPexil -> +t'Temarr+ I have scanned residue from a mineral on one of the components of the detonator. It hails from one particular location in Othan territory. The Par'tellis system.

Laehval tTemarr -> And have you? Relayed information through him? ::Staring at N'Dak.::

Laehval tTemarr -> +Lerak+ Contact S'Bien and have him change course to scan that sector.

Lerak trPexil -> +Laehval+ Right away

Lerak trPexil -> +Koga+ Alter course to the Par'tellis system... I'd advise under tight cloak.

Demi t'Shia -> ::studies rac recordings, until joined by daise:: ((i have to go, this is too painful)

Koga S'Bien -> +Lerak+ Par'tellis system. ::programs in the course change:: Aye aye... course set yo Par'tellis. Best speed. Cloaking device is already online and operational.

Laehval tTemarr -> (( Have a good night, t'Shia. Get better. ))

Koga S'Bien -> ::changes course and engages ::Laehval tTemarr -> << 2 Minute Warning >>Lerak trPexil -> :: Nudges t'Aehjae :: We may have found an important clue.. oh. :: Sees she has indeed fallen asleep ::NDak -> ::He nodded:: But only enough to keep him from being suspicious. Nothing classified or anything that would compromise our position or mission.NDak -> The Khre'Riov was aware of the arrangement.Laehval tTemarr -> I should have been informed the moment au knew that she was captured. ::Brows drawn downward as she frowned.:: But we will discuss that some other time. How do you intend to use this informant? Laehval tTemarr -> PAUSE SIMLaehval tTemarr -> PAUSE SIMLaehval tTemarr -> PAUSE SIM Koga S'Bien -> ::Paused::NDak -> IILaehval tTemarr -> Alright, we're making progress and finding more clues that will lead us to the Enarrain. Next week will pick up pretty much where we left off right now. Any questions?Laehval tTemarr -> Okay, then. Happy belated Birthday to N'Dak. Anyone wanting to give him a spanking is welcome to do so. Lerak trPexil -> :: starts practice swings ::Laehval tTemarr -> I think he's at least forty something in Rihan years.Koga S'Bien -> And a pinch to grow an inch!Laehval tTemarr -> That never works.NDak -> HehKoga S'Bien -> Nope it doesn't. I can attest to that,NDak -> Thanks.Laehval tTemarr -> I've been 5'2" since the 8th grade.Lerak trPexil -> Maybe it works in much smaller increments.Laehval tTemarr -> Because of the metric system.Laehval tTemarr -> Everyone have a good night and enjoy the holiday weekend (except you, Canada).Laehval tTemarr -> Dismissed!Lerak trPexil -> OhhhhKoga S'Bien -> WHy not? We get it too! Laehval tTemarr -> Oh, alright, then.Laehval tTemarr -> You, as well, Canada. :DKoga S'Bien -> :DLaehval tTemarr -> Happy Labour DayKoga S'Bien -> Thanks. Happy Labor Day to you too!Lerak trPexil -> Holiday syntax errorLaehval tTemarr -> Canadian syntax errorLaehval tTemarr -> Night all.Koga S'Bien -> American syntax error.Koga S'Bien -> Goodnight folks
