The Challenger & Nightingale continue their joint efforts to help treat the populace of a major medical outbreak spreading in the eastern continent of the planet Hydra IV. After meeting with the eastern governor, Captain Ja'Lale had returned to the Challenger to monitor operations on the surface. Commander Rinax had also previously returned from her mission. In the sickbay, Lt. Randall healed enough to be cleared back into medical duty after his mysterious attack on his previous mission. Theories also abound on the cause of the outbreak, including one from the construction supervisor where the outbreak may have been caused by an alien ship of mysterious origin. Not wanting to leave any stone unturned, Captain Ja'Lale had ordered records of past ships inbound over the last few months.
