I am a 15-year old trekkie from Denmark, who would like to participate in one of the rpg's. How do I start?

Welcome to STSF and the world of RPGs.  You've done the first thing right..and that is ask for help.  On the top of the page you'll notice a bar with a link titled "about us". On that page are listed the Game Masters or GMs who run the games.  A game schedule is provided in the bar as well just click "schedule".  You'll notice some events are listed as "Starfleet Academy" These are the events would you begin your game experience with STSF.  Again feel free to ask your game hosts any questions.

Have fun.

Also in that top bar is a link called "Help," which will give you some great pointers on getting up and running with the STSF Academy system.  Welcome and Good Luck!

argh, you guys covered all the good stuff.  An other important thing to do is to sim, at as many different academies as posible.  Not only will it get your name around, but it will help you rack up experience fast.

After you graduate, I suggest you visit several of the advanced sims you might want to join.  Many of the GM's have different styles of gameplay, and choosing the one best suited for you is esential for a good time simming.

Hi there!  Thank you for your interest in STSF. :)

Unfortunately...at this time we don't have any sims that take place at a reasonable time in Denmark.  Since you are +1 GMT, that makes you six hours off Eastern Standard Time (New York, United States).  This means that once you make the conversion to your time, our games run at 3, 4, 5 or 6 AM the following day.  This might work if you're a really late night person or a really early morning person.  If you have any other questions, do not hesistate to ask!

Also, when simming in the academy I suggest taking different roles to get a feel for one you like.

Just go to www.startrek.com and register under Community/Chats.  The rooms that the sims are held in, are listed on the chats web page.

Welcome!
