Ensign Garnoopy Personal Log

Stardate 50212.03

:: Smiles ::

What an adventure that away mission was. For some reason, I don't remember exactly what I did on it, but I'm s sure it was essential to the mission.

Anyways, after taking a ride back up to the ship in the Wyvern, the Griffin still being offline due to the fact that it needs a test run before it can be used, I headed off to Engineering.

Naturally, I completely forgot about the native clothing I was wearing. It was just so comfy. I talked to an Ensign in engineering for a few minutes before realizing I needed to change.

I headed off to my quarters, and quickly changed into my uniform. I must admit, Starfleet uniforms are very nice in design, and I'm personally glad to get to wear yellow. It's much more brighter than that red.

I headed off to the bridge; I only had a few minutes before I had to attend a staff meeting to discuss the away mission. I began working on a way to increase the bio-neural circuitry efficiency on the Manticore. I’m thinking if I test out adding some gene sequences to some bio-neural packs I might be able to improve their response time. Human genes are useless in this matter, due to certain chemicals they contain. However, I think that Vulcan DNA might be the right ticket. I'm going to have to get a sample from somewhere, I just have to find probably from a Vulcan crewman.

Well, I headed off to the briefing, where I began to puts fact together. Apparently, some guy named Krutz, or Klutz, or something like that, was a Colonel in this Special Ops force of Starfleet. Colonel Eason, our Intelligence officer, apparently knew this man. This Klutz is apparently somehow, and for some reason, supplying 24th century weapons to a civilization currently at the same level Terans were at during the 21st century. This completely violates the prime directive.

And to top that off, this Krutz or Klutz is supposed to be dead according to Starfleet! I don't know how much I trust this Special Forces or intelligence thingy of the Federation. Seems kinda sneaky for a race looking for peace and freedom for all.

We are trying to find proof that this Colonel is sneaking weapons in, and we have to figure out how he is doing it. It has been proposed, that since Colonel Eason knows Klutzy, she should contact him, along with Lt. Roget who will pose as another Colonel in the SI, or whatever it is. They also propose that in order to make it look like they are sincere, that they take a hostage.

I’m going to have to think about this a little more. For now, I’ve got some work to do.

And how do you think we keep the peace and freedom?  It's by having dirty little secrets like Manticore, eh??

Good log, Garn - it really shows us what your character is thinking!
