I hope people have seen the short from JPL ..."Seven minutes of Hell." Some people on the web are expressing an idea of "What's the big deal?" The engineering shown in this video is incredible. Upon viewing it made me wonder how many of those JPL scientists were incredibly nervous..maybe a bit doubtful? When the first landing signal came back..their reaction is totally justified..And I do not mind a bit of accidental profanity in a joyous celebration. Video on YouTube, look under JPL channel.

 

Yeah the Olympics are on. But this is the best Landing of the Year period.

We have to hope all the instruments work, and the main antenna deploys successfully. But, from what I understand everything is in the green on Monday Night.
