USS Republic Mission Briefing 51206.25

 

The crew of the USS Republic has taken the rescued faction leaders to their diplomatic representatives and the admiral meeting on the small Federation science station that is settled between the two feuding worlds to join in the discussions. Talks are not going as well as had been hoped upon receiving some of their people back, as the faction leaders themselves continue to snipe at each other. Meanwhile back on the ship, it was determined that the one woman, Marcia, was actually innocent and had acted only in self defense, but the other two, Misha and Tabitha surely still looked guilty. Information supplied by Marcia seemed to indicate that the now deceased Bar'Wir was actually hired to put a hit out on Capt Freckla and eventually, one of the two planetary leaders. Security and science have informed Captain Kwai and must decide how to handle this, as they are on the Republic, and the potential for violence to occur, is now off on the station where the others are meeting.
