Capt Rian Kwai -> USS Republic Mission Briefing 51205.21 The crew of the Republic has tried it's best to stall the representatives of the two planets which have recently resumed hostilities, in direct violation of the Federation treaties they signed upon joining and becoming full Federation member worlds. Without any more direct information, and awaiting more of the results from the testing being done by security, science and engineering Admiral BluRox has decided to take another path. A small team of negotiators from the Federation President's' office whom had been sent along with the Republic to observe have been conscripted by the Caitian to go meet with the representatives of Haigen and Gothik, determine how hostilities began again, explain how they had found the crews and that there now was a new issue that had to be solved before she could release their people back to them.

Tory Knight -> ::nods:: Which fits with the process of elimination...

Tory Knight -> ::looks up at Tisa:: We narrowed the field to three suspects.

Tory Knight -> It now looks like our three suspects are our three perpetrators.

Dr Tisa Sen -> So we know that two of the wounds were done with spanners, and the other a foot

Heather Jamieson -> :: Sees the normally tidy container of spanners is a mass of tools pointing in all directions ::

KBear -> +Kwai+ Captain Sorry to bother you but Cmdr Robinson is off duty at the , I was ordered to check the cargobay and I found this of interest. I found a box of Spanners that have been opened. Odd thing is there are 3 missing

Capt Rian Kwai -> +KBear+ Have you verified with Engineering that they are indeed missing and not just picked up by one of their crew?

Heather Jamieson -> :: Cataloging the remaining spanner serial numbers ::

KBear -> +Kwai+ No sir but normally if they open a box they take them with them and do not leave the opened box here. My apologies I will contact Engineering.

Tory Knight -> And he has defensive wounds, so my guess is that they weren't defending themselves.

Heather Jamieson -> +Johnson+ I don't have anything central to the power losses. But I can imagine the spanners may have something to do with it.

Capt Rian Kwai -> Ayumu, just to confirm, we haven't had any unauthorized departures from the ship. In other words, we have the same number of people we picked up from that planet, minus the dead guy?

Would you know if Engineering only took the 3 spanners and left the remaining box? I Know normally they take the entire box when they open it

KBear -> +Kwai+ Sir I checked with Engineering Cmdr Robinson and she informed me that none of the boxes should be opened in the cargobay. That these are new supplies. We have the Serial numbers of the missing Spanners

Capt Rian Kwai -> +KBear+ Send the serial numbers to the team performing the forensic review to see if they match up. We've also got three suspects that I'll need you to track down and detain in the brig until we can do some questioning.
