RES Talon Mission Briefing 51205.10

RES Talon Mission Briefing 51205.10

The Talon, triangulating the newest signal received from what is believed to be t'Ksa's tracking device has perhaps an idea of the captured maenak's course and perhaps even projected course. Currently the Talon has just entered the Jubel system, and are close to Justarus, a large Rihan colony world and capital of this sector. Jubel system is patrolled by Galae ships loyal to tr'Vatrix and the homeworld, so it may be possible to request sensor data or even ship transit logs through this sector. Using the signals already recieved, it has been suggested that the ship that has taken t'Ksa has moved from Jubel Sector up towards the Samnar Sector, arcing around the long way to the Othan Sector, to avoid the fleet that tr'Vatrix had left at Dumak'azen with tr'Valdrin. If this were the case, they could be expected to cut back down through the Markomen System, mostly patrolled by Othan galae ships due to the distance from the homeworld, or they may just continue through the Samnar and around the Markomen altogehter. Talon is taking the chance that if this is a true signal, that they will cut down to save time. Estimated time to cross Jubel System is 2 weeks, and it will take the other ship another 2 weeks to go up and around through Samnar. As we are an estimated 7-10 days behind, we propose to cross directly through Jubel System to the Markomen System in an attempt to shave our time down and be within perhaps a day or so of thier ship if our calcualtions are right.

Meanwhile, Laehval must get a handle on the crew, get them used to her being the Executive Officer, and trying to keep them away from a volitile Khre'Riov.
