Report Received and Resolve to Settle This H'nah

A Joint Log by Daise'Khre'Riov Var'lon tr'Vatrix and Khre'Riov L'haiy ira-Rexan t'Vatrix

L’hiay frowned as she again looked over the summary report they had received from the investigative dheno team that Galae had sent in to help investigate this mess. Included in the report were the findings of the facility dheno, Talon’s dheno team, Galae dheno and tr’Vatrix’s own people reviewing everything. It had upset Maec as well when he first read it, and even longer to calm him down afterwards, but they had assured him they'd do everything they could to find her if she was indeed taken against her will. The fact that she had a tracking necklace, could prove to be invaluable in helping to find her, if only she still had it and was able to activate it. They had insisted that Maec go home, and quietly bring her family up to date on a 'few' of the items which they knew, however, after the recent incident between her rinam and one of Talon crew, they were na to know everything, as it could hurt the investigation if io of them decided to hna public again with her issues. Maec had enough rank to know what he could and could na discuss with them, so they were na concerned with this.

Chewing on her lip a bit as she went through the report once again, her ire rose as she re-read the accusation made against her by tr'Pexil, suggesting that she might have had N'Dak stabbed or had done so herself. She was going to have to speak to the fvai about his dragging her name into this mess and perhaps trying to frame her for this incident. Perhaps he actually 'had' been involved hrrau the stabbing, though she doubted he personally had the stomach to pull something like this off. Still, io never knew what desparate men would do, if N'Dak had something hanging over the man. She shook her head and turned her attention back to the ISD once again.

Internal Investigative Report - Classification Grade Io

Attn:

Daise’Khre’Riov Var’lon tr’Vatrix

Galae Headquarters

Fleet Operations

Rekkhai,

Listed hrrau this haudet are the findings of the combined dheno teams that were ordered to investigate the incidents having taken place at the Trapulerius event yesterday as au have ordered.

Event #1) Attack upon Enarrain Destorie N’Dak (Acting Commander RES Talon)

Enarrain N’Dak was discovered lying hrrau a pool of his own blood, victim of several stabbing wounds to his chest and shoulder. Reportedly found by io of his crewmen, El’Riov Lerak tr’Pexil. tr’Pexil reported seeing a man stabbing the Enarrain, then running off as tr’Pexil shouted and approached. tr’Pexil reportedly did na give chase, as he chose to give aid to the Enarrain. Dheno security cameras hrrau this section of the building had been tampered with, so that they would na record. Only io by the far doorway and one across the courtyard with a poor angle were in operating order a the time of the attack. Just outside hrrau this same area, a small scrap of high quality cloth was found. The Enarrain was still hrrau surgery at the time of this haudet.

Other theories and suspects:

El’Riov Lerak tr’Pexil: Had recently had words with the Enarrain, freely admitted to such, and had the time alone away from the guest areas to do this. Was found in the corridor of the private quarters of the wedding party, covered with the Enarrain.

Daise’Erei’Riov Morgana t’Ksa: Had recently had words with the Enarrain, as collaborated by many of his the Talon’s oira crew. Last seen hrrau same corridor as the Enarrain was found. Whereabouts of the Daise’Erei’Riov is currently unknown, so she has na been questioned. Dheno camera of far doorway showed someone of similar build and wearing t’Ksa’s ceremonial robes exiting the building.

Khre’Riov L’haiy ira-Rexan t’Vatrix: Was suggested as a possible suspect by El’Riov Lerak tr’Pexil, as she had often had strong words with the Enarrain. Reports that he had also recently met with her for unknown reasons at her home. This theory has been disregarded as the Khre’Riov had arrived with the Daise’Khre’Riov and his personal dheno just prior to the incident, and eye witnesses put her hrrau the courtyard and never hrrau the area where the stabbing occurred. It is possible that El’Riov tr’Pexil suggested the Khre’Riov to try to avoid suspicion himself.

Unknown assailant (see following section for more detail) It was theorized that an unknown assailant attacked the Enarrain when he inadvertantly came upon him/them hrrau the restricted area.

Statement that the Enarrain was hrrau this area having told Kheinsa Maec tr’Aieme that he would check upon t’Ksa for him as he wished to have a word with her anyway, and that it would be ‘bad luck’ tr’Aieme to see her prior to the ceremony.

Other assailant: Enarrain Destorie N’Dak has made many enemies in the past and has incidents with many in the past. This will be reviewed as well.

Event #2) Possible Attack/Abduction of Daise’Erei’Riov Morgana t’Ksa (Acting Executive Officerr RES Talon)

Whereabouts of the Daise’Erei’Riov have been unable to be determined at this time. Although video evidence has shown someone matching her description leaving the complex wearing her ceremonial bonding robes, interviews with Talon dheno staff, family and acquaintances have substantiated that the person being shown leaving was na Morgana t’Ksa. Height, and gait of this person did na match that of the Daise’Erei’Riov, and evidence hrrau her private chambers showed signs of a struggle and possible abduction.

A wine stained rug, partially hidden by a large flower arrangement when au entered the room and broken glass swept under the couch show evidence of someone trying to hide the obvious from immediate view. Carpet fibers indicate that someone had fell, and had been dragged a short distance across the carpet. A dress-form mannequin was also found in the room, speculation that it was taking up space somewhere, where t’Ksa may have been placed in it’s stead. Statements from Daise’Erei’Riov t’Ksa’s rinam, Lannisal, indicate that these items were na present a few siuren before the attack upon Enarrain N’Dak, when she went to check on the meal arrangements. Another possible link between the two events.

Also found outside the property was a garment bag, similar to one seen on io video camera from across the courtyard, though positive identification is impossible with the poor view and angle of the video. It is speculated that the Daise’Erei’Riov may have been either drugged or physically subdued and removed from the premises, as a staff member of the facility was seen carrying a heavy bag from the facility.

Forensics upon the bag were unable to obtain any fingerprints. Most notably found was a tiny scrap of cloth, that was found caught in the teeth of the garment bag’s zipper at the very bottom of the bag. Tests upon this scrap of cloth show it to be material from a standard issue Galae uniform, Othan Fleet issue. Unknown if this was unintentionally torn and undiscovered by the assailant, or if left on purpose as a ruse, is yet to be determined.

Additional information: Comparison of original guest list against invitations presented and staff list, showed 3 additional names na known by family nor Trapulerius staff. It is speculated that this proves malice and supports the theory that t’Ksa had been abducted, and that in the above incident, that somehow these two incidents are related. For the time being, Talon staff will be allowed to return to their ship to be questioned further later if needed.

Further action: Enarrain N’Dak to be interviewed if he survives.

End of Haudet.

El’Riov t’Lhoell,

Galae Dheno, Forensics Unit

He sat at his desk and watched the woman he jol across the room, her body language easily told him by the way she held herself, that she grew more and more angry as she reviewed the report once again. The report had made him angry as well for various reasons, na less than io of her crew trying to implicate her in this mess as well, he would have to have that io watched, and perhaps 'removed' from Talon. Yet another engineer from that ship, the whole department was a nest of venomous snakes.

In wake of Morgana t’Ksa’s suspected abduction and the impact that it may have upon his bondmate with future attempts upon both she and possibly their child’s life, Var’lon tr’Vatrix had finally had enough of this. It had been well over a year since the Elements had deemed to return L'haiy to life and to him, through a side effect of the nanogenes that were being used by still unknown aliens that had tried to clone the Talon crew. That they attempted to repair her while in stasis had turned out to be a fortunate thing. Proven by Galae Medical and many other scientists to still be herself, L’haiy had been allowed to resume her life, and yet, still the whispers could be overheard calling her an imposter, a clone and that he was a veruul for falling for her trickery. Na, he would settle this once and for all. Whoever was behind fueling this hate, may well have also had a hand into these abduction attempts, and in t’Ksa case, achieved it. Na, he had her back and would na lose her again, this he swore.

He had already started to increase the fleet presence along certain shipping lanes, which he knew were popular with those that preferred to avoid notice. The Tal Shiar were na the only ones that knew or held secrets, and in his position, he had access to many. He then issued orders to mobilize a fairly large force to follow the single lead they had. A torn scrap of cloth, later to be determined as a small torn piece of an Othan uniform, found caught in the zipper of the garment bag that had evidently been used to move t’Ksa, when she was taken from the ceremony. At first, when the woman did na appear, it was believed that perhaps she had lost her courage and was na able to go through with the ceremony. As word spread of the attack upon Enarrain N’Dak, it had then been suggested that she might have just fled from the embarrassment of the situation.

tr’Vatrix and his bondmate could both sympathize with that feeling, having had an unfortunate event at their own announcement. Investigators even had the theory that perhaps t’Ksa and N’Dak had words between them over command of the Talon, which may have lead to an incident between them; the same being suggested but also somehow involving tr’Pexil as well, as there was admitted animosity between he and N’Dak as well.

Remnants of a broken wine glass hurriedly swept under the edge of the couch, the large floral arrangement which had na been in the room prior to her disapearance, the wine stained carpet, the disheveled room could support these other two theories, that some sort of argument had taken place amongst some of the crew, however, there were other factors now being found as the investigation delved deeper. The brief shot from one distant camera across the courtyard, showing what seemed to appear to be two of the facility staff carrying items towards her preparation room, and later, something heavy being carried by an unknown man. Additionally, the disruption of the other security camera’s in the area, noting that the only working camera showed someone much like the Daise’Maenak walking out the back door, but those that knew her, just felt by watching the movements of the image caught rhae the camera, were just na right, the gait seemed slightly off. It is possible, that it was na t'Ksa,but perhaps that this was na the same person they were looking for, perhaps it was actually io of the possible abductors.

The scrap of cloth found outside had given them more clues, as well as the torn uniform fibers, which had become the best piece of evidence so far. At least, the best piece that they were able to admit to. Na, the torn fibers had quickly deemed some of the other theories out as only conjecture and falsehood. It was possible that it was also have been planted to be a ruse, but so small a scrap of torn cloth, little more than torn fibers caught hrrau the bottom of a zipper in an old bag, could easily escape notice by those perpetrating this attack. This hadn’t been the first time someone had attempted to take the woman, and evidently, this time they had finally succeeded. However, guessing that in their attempt na to be seen purchasing a new bag that could possibly be traced back to them, they had used an old cloth bag removing any personal identification from it, but missing this io miniscule thing.

Mogana’s room had few clues to the search, other than what they already had determined from their search, questioning of guests and the sparse video footage. It was now suspected that someone had come to deliver her ceremonial robes and flowers. Upon further review of the camera footage, it could be seen that the bag was much heavier as one of the men left with it hoisted over his shoulder. The scrap of cloth had been tested and appeared to be from the sleeve of a uniform tunic, the camouflage pattern one of Othan design.

There was also the other matter; the other piece of evidence which had been found, but had na been made known to any than the four that had been at the hospital for that conversation. Na, only he, L’haiy, tr’Shalor and the younger N’Dak knew of the blade that had been found, and it would have to remain that way for h’nah. There was too much chance that io of the Talon crew had been infiltrated, and they could na risk losing the advantage that this might give the young N’Dak a chance to play his hand against his sister and the Tal Shiar.

As far as tr’Vatrix was concerned, in light of their last dealings with the Othan at Dumok’azen, he felt that it could be that the entire Othan sector could be involved, and were orchestrating some sort of power play against the Empire? He would have to discuss this with the Fvillah as soon as possible for na only the protection of the Empire, but of the Fvillah himself. Who knew how deep this plot went. And what interest did the Tal Shiar have in this bonding, other than if they wanted t’Ksa for her knowledge of the nanogenes?

Finally he stood and crossed the room to where L'haiy sat on the couch there, and offered his hand to her, "Come E'lev, we've had enough fahd for today, let us hna home and think on it more there, and see to our son."

She looked up at him and nodded as she deactivated the ISD and placed it back upon her belt. She reached up and took his offered hand to stand, "Hann'yyo Var'lon, au are right, it has been a long day. I should see to Val'ron and see him fed."

Now he knew she was upset, normally at this point she would tease him by calling him 'Rekkhai', but she was strangley quiet at the siuren. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze and leaned over to kiss her on top of her head. "Do na worry E'lev, we will find her, and also bring an end to this mess. I swear to au, that we will. H'nah, let us go," as he lead her towards the door.

Very nice read for my lunch at work. Leave it to Pexil to answer the interrogation questions in remote possibilities and not remote probabilities. I will prepare my plasma torpedo coffin now.
