The USS Tango was in dry dock to have the fleet engineers find out what had been causing fluctuations in power, which occured during the heat of the moment, not during any times they could properly diagnosed.

 

One stop at a Feringinar may have dropped some cut-rate parts into the system. There was suspicion that the last virual outbreak may have affected the Gel-packs installed. They were pulled and beamed to Drydock quarantine. Even one of the cores had to be ejected.

 

After identifying a sparkle in the crystal champer, a new life-form was found in the dilithium crystal chamber in the secondary core. Security reported to the dilithium storage chamber.
