Currently the Republic has crewmembers on two different away teams, stranded on two different planetoids that share the same orbit around a small dwarf star. Named Heigan and Gothik, the planets remain equidistant from one another, maintaining the only the same orbit, but speed and gravitational pull as each other. It was noted that there was difficulty when beaming them down, getting them to rematerialize, and later noted, that a shuttle would crash (based upon test done with various probes). A lose of power such as one would see with an EMP burst is suspected.

 

Meanwhile, on Heigan, Will's team has been assisted by several stranded explorers from Heigan 'and' Gothik, living peacefully together and cooperating with each other to survive. Led by Cpt Frekla, Will and team are out of the storms way and safe. However, a new storm is a brewing, as several of the women have taken a like for Will.

 

On Gothik, Jax's team has been approached by a group of Goths, with not quite hostile intents towards them, but towards anyone from Heigan. Though, they were not pleased to see the away team either, and predicted Jax and company would meet an early demise as they had no survival skills.
