Mission Brief: Time between Sims has been 5 Minutes. The Grayson Town Guard & Militia has mobilized to defend the city. The Commander gives orders for undercover crew to defend themselves against the dragons and mercenaries but to not initiate contact. The situation goes from dicey to worse when an Elder Dragon shows, complete with a mounted Black Knight. The Captain then gives the order for all crew to disregard the Prime Directive and use modern weapons, while our resident sniper tags the larger dragon for anti-dragon fire from Comanche Creek. Tonight? More thrills and chills!

 

= = = =

Sim Summary: The jig is up, so to speak. Thanks to the efforts of Alae'Ciym Dalagh, a good white dragon, and stun fire from the phaser banks of the orbiting Comanche Creek, the evil Black Wyrm is defeated and the brigands scattered. Grayson City Defender and Leader Kerran Phalen though, would like some answers, especially since he spotted the use of "sorcery" on the Wyrm as well as the use of certain weapons. He has invited the Away Team members back to his offices. We will be given medical attention as well as refreshment.

Mission Brief: Time between Sims has been 1 Hour. After assisting in the defense of Grayson City, our Away Team members have retired to the offices of Grayson Defender Kerran Phalen. See Mission Thread for details: http://www.stsf.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=24144&pid=103031&st=0entry103031

 

Heads up for upcoming Sim and RP opportunities as we were all invited to Defender Phalens offices for:

 

1.) Diplomacy relations in action. Just don't tick off the Good Dragon and I think we'll be fine.

2.) Refreshments and no they are not poison::rolls eyes:: This isn't Babylon 5.

3.) Medical needs, provided by Grayson medical personnel or Comanche Creek personnel. Don't bleed on Grayson carpeting. If you must bleed, go for the maroon or reddish carpeting so it can blend in.

 

I know SCI and MED personnel were employing tricorder devices; I'd imagine y'all have quite a bit of data and footage. And, other teams/single personnel would have information to add from the observation factor alone with our time spent undercover in the city before all hell broke loose.

 

Our SEC/FORECON personnel are most likely on protection alert with our people as per usual.

 

For my part, I promise the Captain will behave and not jump out another storefront window. I'm sure your cutout will be safe, Commander Scooter. Crash will check in with the team for updates on injuries, data, and will brief everyone live per events in my two logs.

 

In the great tradition of "it's more of a guideline", the Captain violated the Prime Directive by giving orders to deploy weapons and assist the Graysons. Could that command decision have future consequences for her? Was it the right thing to do? Was it the wrong thing to do? Are we really interfering with a culture who obviously has some technology aspects if a bit magical? We'll see.

Sim Summary: Calestorm briefs her crew on the situation, informing them that she’s made the decision to assist the Graysons, despite the Starfleet policy of non-interference in cultures that have not yet made contact with the modern universe. A vibrant discussion follows as the department chiefs and senior officers discussed the pros and cons of violating the dictates of the infamous ‘Star Trek’ Prime Directive.

Time Between Sims is 2 weeks. We continue to observe and participate in the culture of Grayson City. Wounds and recovery will be tended. Deploy the diplomacy. Preparations will be underway at some point to further assist the defenses of the city.

Capt Calestorm -> Calestorm isnt so much coming in from the Shadow Being perspective; she's concerned about Count Luca.

Cassie Granger -> The cloud drew us and others into this area of space, making it a direct threat.

Capt Calestorm -> Lieutenant Barrows gave us the coordinates to find the planet.

Gage Silver -> Why? What's the connection?

Capt Calestorm -> @ Gage> they are of the planet, Gage.

Capt Calestorm -> Both Barrows and the Shadow Being.

Gage Silver -> So, arguably, we came here to look for the shadow and have serious mission creep.

Capt Calestorm -> I suggested in the one log that Phalen suggested Barrows was one of the planetary travelers.

Capt Calestorm -> The Shadow Being? It could have escaped centuries ago from Grayson.

Capt Calestorm -> Phelan described them as "fell beings" or some such.

Gage Silver -> But that was the reason we came here.

Mission Brief: Time between Sims is another 2 Weeks (one month total has passed). A diplomatic overture to Castle Luca has been unsuccessful. Count Luca harasses outlying territories/farms and shoreline communities. We maintain a command post in the Grayson merchant district; tentative plans are being discussed on a joint Grayson-Comanche Creek offensive response.

Sim Summary: The USS Comanche Creek commences an orbital stun bombardment against Castle Luca. Shuttles and starfighters provide protection patrol from any possible enemy dragon sightings. Our ground teams are given orders to move in and assist Defender Phalen and his Militia and Guard personnel during the final assault sweep of the castle; the castle is to be accessed through a network of caves at the base of the mountain beneath the structure. Per joint orders from the respective commanders, Count Luca is to be taken alive.

Mission Brief: Time between Sims has been 48 Hours. Count Luca has been captured alive and is held in Grayson custody. Defender Phalen considers applying for Grayson admission to the Federation. Our personnel prepare to return to the USS Comanche Creek; the temporary command posting within the merchant district is being broken down.

Sim Summary: CDR Wesley oversees operations from the USS Comanche Creek while CPT Calestorm discusses final plans for Defender Phalen of Grayson to submit for membership to the Federation. LT TAral has returned to her office in the Medical Bay; LT. Kvar is on bridge watch with the Commander. ENS Shalin, LT Silver, LT Belo, LT Tauiraiki and WO3 Granger handle breaking down the temporary command post on Grayson.

Time Between Sims is 2 Weeks. In that time we will have returned to the First Threat Response Command Offices at New Topeka, with the ship moored in the orbital docks. The crew detaches on leave.

Notes: As the USS Comanche Creek is updated with necessary equipment, repairs and programming, the crew will have a 3 month long (In Character) shore leave. Per the time on leave, our detachment assignments can range from temporary duty postings, instructor positions, and actual shore leave. It is entirely up to the Player.

Mission Brief: Time between Sims has been 2 Weeks. We have returned to the FTR Command Offices at the colony planet of New Topeka. The USS Comanche Creek is undergoing repairs and upgrades in the orbital docks. Our crew has been released on a three month long In Character shore leave. Assignments range from temporary duty postings, instructor positions, and actual shore leave (this is entirely up to the purview/creativity of the Player).

Sim Summary: Our crew is currently scattered to the solar winds as we enjoy shore leave at home or in exotic locals, attending seminars, overseeing departmental upgrades, make unique use of a shuttle from the USS Enterprise, or dangerous covert operations assignments. Mission Brief: Time between Sims has been 8 Weeks. After a three month long shore leave and participation in detached duty assignments, our crew has returned to the USS Comanche Creek at the New Topeka orbital docks. Pre-launch preparations and briefings have been on-going.

Sim Summary: The crew has returned from shore leave and detached duty postings; pre-launch preparations are underway at the New Topeka orbital docks. Some caught up on their scientific journals while others took advantage of medical seminars. A covert mission to extract intelligence assets from a pirate faction was successful, though two team members now find navigating the question of romance to be more treacherous then armed adversaries. In addition, two officers in particular find the status quo changed as Admiral Coyote makes a hard-hitting command decision.

Time Between Sims is 1 Week. We will be traveling to and establishing an anti-piracy picket patrol at the New Vulcan sector.

Mission Brief: Time between Sims has been 1 Week. Temporarily diverted to New Vulcan, the USS Comanche Creek is to establish an anti-piracy picket patrol due to increased activity in the area.

Mission Summary: With Commander Calestorm demoted to the position of Executive Officer, Captain Wesley maintains the Commanding Officer posting for the Comanche Creek. The anti-piracy patrol at New Vulcan goes well, though the assignment offers a subterfuge for another high-profile, covert mission to rescue officers missing in action – Operation: Lost Souls Phase 2.

Time Between Sims is 4 Days. The officers tapped for the covert assignment have left the Comanche Creek at New Vulcan and travel to Epsilon 9 Starbase for final preparations and debriefs. For the 10.22.12 Sim, we are already established at the base.

[Crash Calestorm] The short version is, Phase 2 will be happening behind enemy lines, specifically Rura Penthe.

[Crash Calestorm] Therefore, we will be undercover. Though we have some choices.

Mission Brief: Our covert operatives have arrived at Epsilon 9 Starbase. Preparations and final briefings are underway for Operation: Lost Souls Phase 2.

Mission Summary: The stakes are high to rescue officers thought missing in action from the Battle of Vulcan. On the eve of Operation: Lost Souls Phase 2, our intrepid 'Creekers prepare to enter into the pirate culture of the Free Territories/Out Lands. Our ultimate goal is the eventual infiltration of the Klingon penal planet of Rura Penthe, where the Starfleet MIA's are being held.

Time Between Sims is 2 Months. The SS 'Frankenship' and the SS Vulture will be working the outer sectors as pirates for hire, ingratiating ourselves within the culture. To quote a particular sci fi TV show, we'll do whatever it takes to keep fuel in the tanks and food on the table...

Mission Brief: Time Between Sims has been 2 Months. Our covert operatives have begun to establish themselves to the pirate culture within the Free Territories/Out Lands and on the Klingon side of the border, building up reputations and status. Both crews and their respective vessels are currently 'cruising' the sectors.

 

= = = =

Mission Summary: The Overwatch Team launches from the SS Frankenship, their destination Rura Penthe, the Klingon prison where our Starfleet MIA’s are being held. The crew of the SS Vulture discovers a bounty has been put out on them, all according to the plan. Transmissions are sent to the SS Frankenship, signaling the crews are to move out yet again.

Time Between Sims is 72 Hours. We pick up next Sim with Overwatch establishing themselves on the prison planet. Captain Wesley and Commander Calestorm’s ‘piratical’ crews make their way to Stingers*, a bar located on Nike Prime.

Mission Brief: Time Between Sims has been 72 Hours. An Overwatch Team has been established on the prison planet of Rura Penthe. The undercover crews of the SS Vulture and SS Frankenship converge on Stingers, a bar located on Nike Prime for the next stage of our covert rescue operation.

 

= = = =

Mission Summary: In a planned encounter, the crew of the SS Frankenship takes the crew of the SS Vulture and their vessel as prisoners and bounty, citing collection of reward on the wanted posters distributed on the Vulture crew. Team Overwatch has established position on Rura Penthe, waiting and watching.

Time Between Sims is 24 Hours. The Dread Pirate Audraya Wesley has captured the pirate crew of the SS Vulture. She will travel with her shanghaied prisoners and bounty to the Klingon prison planet of Rura Penthe.

Mission Brief: Time between Sims has been 24 Hours. The pirate crew of the SS Frankenship has ‘captured’ the pirate crew of the SS Vulture. Captain Wesley travels with her bounty to the Klingon prison planet of Rura Penthe. The Overwatch team covertly establishes position and waits on the surface of the icy planet.

Mission Summary: Captain Wesley has sold her prisoners to the Commandant of Rura Penthe, K'Link. The prison team will now infiltrate Rura Penthe in search of the Starfleet officers held there. Overwatch maintains position on the surface of the ice world; Wesley and the remaining undercover crew maintain the SS Frankenship and the SS Vulture in orbit.

Mission Brief: Time between Sims has been 48 Hours. The Infiltration Team is now within the prison system of the Rura Penthe gulag, searching for the Starfleet MIA's. Captain Wesley and the remaining undercover pirate officers maintain an orbital watch. The Overwatch Team maintains a covert position on the surface of the ice world.

Mission Summary: Vulture Team begins to make final plans to escape Rura Penthe with the Starfleet MIA's (and several tag-a-longs imprisoned at Penthe) as events both planned and unplanned begin to move forward. The SS Frankenship, SS Vulture and the surface Overwatch Team remain on joint alert.

Mission Brief: Time between Sims has been 24 Hours. Vulture Team prepares to escape with the Starfleet MIA's and a motley group of Rura Penthe prisoners desiring to go along for the ride. Our outside operatives both on the surface and in orbital patrol remain on alert for the final move of the interior team.

Mission Summary: Vulture Team staged a breakout from the prison of Rura Penthe, with Starfleet MIA's and various liberated prisoners in tow. No, Steve McQueen was not present for The Great Escape, though orbital assistance was rendered from the SS Frankenship and SS Vulture, as well as the ground-based Overwatch Team.

Mission Brief: Time between Sims has been 96 Hours (4 Days). Following a successful rescue mission from the Klingon prison planet of Rura Penthe, the SS Vulture and the SS Frankenship are on route back to New Vulcan space to rendezvous with the USS Comanche Creek. The Starfleet Officers previously missing in action at the Battle of Vulcan (2258) are being cared for.

Mission Summary: The bridge crew of the SS Frankenship encountered Mr. Harry Mudd in all his con-artist glory. Harry Mudd rocks out.

Mission Brief: (October 2, 2260, Stardate 2260.276) Time between Sims has been 24 Hours (1 Day). Undercover mission successfully completed and after traveling for several days, our ship will be making dock at New Vulcan during the Sim.

Mission Summary: The SS Frankenship makes dock at the New Vulcan colony minus the company of the SS Vulture, which has disappeared thanks to certain parties.

Time Between Sims: 3 Months. Injuries of the Starfleet MIA Officers are tended to, our undercover crew re-acclimates to to Starfleet life, the USS Comanche Creek maintains an ongoing picket of New Vulcan due to increasing pirate activity.
