“Simple, Right?”

 

Betty, standing at a panel quickly surmised up their situation.

 

The security detail of 12 people had made their way from the gravity generation chamber to the astrometrics lab. The room had been sealed and a dampening field erected. All power signatures from the panels had been rerouted to locations all over the ship, if anyone tried to trace them they would find themselves in the wrong room.

 

No personnel had been injured, no confrontations had occurred yet. They had discovered that the Romulans currently were docked with the Manticore. The ship was not moving as of yet. Phaser compression rifle frequency had been entered into the main computer core allowing them to fire their phasers without the computer alerting anyone.

 

What would they do next? Their goal was simple enough, rescue the Manticore crew and make a fast getaway. However, the warp drive was offline and would require more time to repair than rescuing the crew. It would seem that the security detail’s main priority would be to repair the engines then rescue the crew, but how?

 

They would have to take engineering she knew. Once that was done she had high confidence about the engineers on the team, they could get the warp core online in time. Currently she knew that both warp cores, the impulse drive, and the backup computer core were offline. She only hoped that they could repair them in time.

 

Once they knew they could fly this big ol’ ship away it would be time to find a way to sedate the Romulan invaders and rescue the Manticore staff. Simple enough, right?
