Border Patrol - In Starfleet news, the Border Patrol’s First Threat Response Program is preparing to add two new Kelvin-class frigates to the family: the USS Little Robe Creek, and the USS Plum Creek.

Starfleet Command - There have been rumors, though unconfirmed as of this writing, of possible Romulan activity along the designated Neutral Zone. Starfleet representatives assure the public that the matter, if there is in fact any activity, is being looked into.

Civilian Liaison - Ground was broken on the site where the new joint diplomatic consulate is to be located. The New Vulcan colony continues to grow, though residents continue to deal with the unwelcome attention of sector pirates. A representative from the colony militia police force, in conjunction with the senior officer representatives of the Starfleet marine and security squads stationed at the colony, assures us that the matter is being dealt with.
