Midshipman Zertz' log

Zertz opened the door to his quarters and staggered in, it had been a taxing day and he needed a sonic shower. “Well, best get things sorted out first.” Zertz went to the replicator and got himself some Orange Pekoe Tea, he sat down in a rather tasteful chair and told the computer to begin recording, “Quite a day, the CAT-5 system was acting up again. The problem was earlier tracked to the holographic modules, tedious work to isolate the cause, but that is over now and the changes were now made. Ugh, Pause Recording.”

Zertz got up, he’d have that shower now. He moved into it and activated it, the feeling of every bit of dirt blasted away enveloped him. Searching for something to put on he grabbed those clothes he bought on Risa. Moving back to his char he started recording again, “Uh, oh yes. Lieutenant Demore and I proceeded to the Computer Core to flip the big red switch, quite an ugly place that is. There was a bit of a mechanical problem and we blacked out engineering. I would have loved to see the Commander’s face when that happened. Well, probably not much to see, but still. Back on topic, a simple bypass did the trick and the system went back up. Nothing much of interest happened after that. Although, Commander GromVik was called to the Captain’s office, must have been about that court martial. I’m not looking forward to that, I met Mogg before, seemed like a nice enough person. At any rate, I’m fitting in quite well here at the sky harbor and I’m looking forward to working with Demore again.” Zertz ended the log and stretched.
