USS Avenger's (Miranda-class {Post-TNG/DS9/VOY}) captain has been taken hostage by members of an Orion Cartel. She's currently being held in a large stone fortress on a Class-M planet, known for its atmospheric instabilities. Transporter Operations are not possible. An Away team, led by the XO has been dispatched via shuttle to the surface.

 

Next week we will pick up with the shuttle on the ground. Yes, we survived the atmospheric entry anti-aircraft barrage!
