An away team from the USS Hephaestus is aboard the shuttle Ares en route to investigate an uninhabited planet on the edge of known space.

The shuttle has been hit by a large meteorite and is stuck 100' above the forest canopy. Branches are slowly breaking under its weight.

Everyone but the CO and XO is aboard the shuttle.

There is no communication with the ship.

Survival is the key.
