Assistant medical officer Image's log

 

The transport was on route back to the Aegis. Images had spent most the trip dozing in the back, he got up from his seat with a cup of milky tea and leaned his extremely sunburned face into the pilot's area and asked a query.

 

"Hello! I was just wondering how long it's going to take us to get to Cardassia prime's orbit."

 

"Sorry to suprise you doctor but we aren't going near Cardassia prime" The pilot replied in a very bored voice.

 

"Pardon?" Images exclaimed in shock. "What do you mean we aren't going near Cardassia prime? That's where the bloody Sky Harbor Aegis IS".

 

"Not anymore doctor" the slightly irritated pilot answered

 

"So it just got up and moved away did it?"

 

"Yup"

 

"I'm a doctor. If you need any psychological help i can provide it."

 

"You don't believe me? then just look" the pilot said in the voice of a teacher to a child whilst pointing at the display. "It's right there. In fact we should be able to see it." The pilot pressed a few keys and the screen image magnified showing the station not too far away. "Happy?"

 

"Oh" was the only noise images could come up with as the pilot grinned a smug grin and increased their speed.
