The Manticore is in the Badlands and is destroying a dozen secret Federation probes left in this strange area of space, with the help of the Wyvern and Griffin. After destroying nine of the probes, a bioarmor failure on the Griffin caused an electrical failure and the fighter is drifting with no power. Manticore and Wyvern are attempting to locate the Griffin before it is lost forever in the gravitational tides of the region.
