The New Boards

Folks,

We are still tweaking the new Boards in order to make things like "View New Content" to actually let you review and read new posts. Please let us know if you have any questions or problems with the Boards.

Webbie continues to look into why the "View New Content" link isn't working the way the old one did (and it will - it just needs to be fixed)

In the meantime, I wanted to mention a work-around that is a bit longer to accomplish, but does work just as well. From the main Boards display, if you scroll down, you will notice that most of the folder/page icons, all the way to the left, are grayed out. If you see any that are showing up as dark blue, it means that there is a new post in that forum. Be careful not to click on the dark blue icon as it will set that forum as "Read" for you. However, you can click on the name and go into that Board (or "Forum" as it's called in the system) and see the new post. All posts that have the most recent entries will be at the top of the list - unless there are Pinned Topics - and then the new entries will be just below the Pinned ones.

This way, you can scan through the Forums, decide which new posts to read and be able to mark Forums and posts as "Read" when you are finished reading.
