USS Excalibur

Hi all,

Attach (and below) is the chatlog from our Sunday's sim. Enjoy!

Cptn Corizon -> MISSION BRIEF: Excalibur has slipped into the Romulan Neutral Zone and is nearing the Durbian system where Corizon has said they will meet with an "old friend."

Cptn Corizon -> Qurstions?

Cptn Corizon -> BEGIN SIM

Cptn Corizon -> BEGIN SIM

Laarell -> Kahrak> ::has taken over at Science for the time being::

Maryse Dubois -> ::In sickbay, making a round before she gets ready toleave.::

Fae -> :: At Hops :: Getting close, everybody.

Tandaris Admiran -> ::moping in his quarters, having left Marius and Sean to deal with any issues with the cloaking device::

Sean Howard -> :: down in ME, keeping a close eye on stuff ::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::having relieved Garrison @ tac, continues to keep a close eye on all the bells and whistles at her disposal::

Cptn Corizon -> ::on the bridge, sternly looking at the starfield pass by, drinking his tea, his third cup for anyone counting::

Rue Wydown -> ::flipping a small capsle like thing from hand to hand as she walks down the hallway to sickbay::

Cptn Corizon -> Status report?

Fae -> Proceeding Warp 7.5 cloaked, ETA five minutes.

Maryse Dubois -> ::Looks over a case report as she walks towards the door.::

Rue Wydown -> ::entering sickbay, gripping the probe in her fist::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Nods:: Once we arrive put us into a 'safe' orbit of one of the moons of the third gas giant in the system. We'll remain cloaked, but tactical I am going to have you start broadcasting a repeating signal every 10 minutes on a very, very narrow band.

Victria -> ::Througly beaten up by her new holodeck training program, Victria had holed up in Main Security after Corizon's announcement, figuring that was the best place to be in case of trouble. She leaned back in her chair, peering at the reports streaming in.::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::tapping a few commands into the console, laying in the appropriate programming::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Taps and sends the information to tactical:: Our contact may not be here when we arrive; this will let them know we're here without anyone else.

Cptn Corizon -> knowing.*

Fae -> :: Makes some small course adjustments ::

Charlotte Matsumura -> Programming frequencies now.

Fae -> :: Drops to warp one to minimize warp trail as we enter the system ::

Maryse Dubois -> ::Almost walks into Rue, before stopping.:: Oh...hello Commander.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::adding the frequency modulations into the parameters, and prepping the program::

Charlotte Matsumura -> Program is ready to be executed on your command, Captain.

Sean Howard -> :: notes a quick power drop, panics a bit before seeing that the warp factor was lowered ::

Fae -> Breaking warp in one minute.

Rue Wydown -> 'ello there Doctor. Am I catchin' ye at a bad time?

Fae -> Breaking warp in ten seconds.

Maryse Dubois -> ::Shakes head.:: Oh no. I was actually going to take my work for a little walk. Pretty quite here.

Maryse Dubois -> *quiet

Fae -> :: drops to normal space. Holds in place a bit to give people a chance to work sensors ::

Tandaris Admiran -> ACTION> As Excalibur drops out of warp, the sudden change in power levels triggers an overload in the cloaking device's capacitor.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::prepping console for arrival, queuing up the appropriate sensor sweeps...::

Fae -> Woah...

Sean Howard -> :: much swearing as the cloak's alarms start blaring ::

Rue Wydown -> Ye mind if we have a bit of a chat? ::raises a brow::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::...muttering a few choice words as alerts start blaring at various positions across the bridge and through the ship::

Maryse Dubois -> Not at all. My office?

Fae -> :: waits for the cloak to hopefully restabalize ::

Rue Wydown -> Thanks. ::motions for her to lead the way::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::pulling up all tactical sensors, making a very quick sweep to ensure they aren't walking into an ambush::

Maryse Dubois -> ::Leads the way to her office, where she takes a seat at her desk.::

Fae -> :: Starts the ship very casually to a position between the gas giant and the occupied planet ::

Sean Howard -> :: knowing he has only moments, switches cloak power to direct routing so he can shut down the capacitor, hopes its enough to keep it running ::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::hands are flying over the console, her eyes flickering from screen to screen as she takes in all the information that is being fed::

Fae -> :: Figures engineering doesn't need her nagging them just now, concentrates on flying ::

Tandaris Admiran -> ACTION> The ship remains cloaked, and nothing has exploded yet.

Victria -> (( Yet. ))

Sean Howard -> :: flies back to where the cloak is installed, waits for the capacitor to stop stewing for a few more seconds while putting on some work gloves ::

Laarell -> K> Nothing indicating that anything nearby noticed the power dip...

Fae -> :: Chooses a moon that is behind the gas giant from most traffic, and settles into a distant orbit ::

Sean Howard -> Let's hope fortune does indeed favor the foolish. :: unlocks the capictor's installation locks before taking a spanner to the bolts ::

Rue Wydown -> Did you happen to read the report from the Republic's encounter with the Oest, mate?

Fae -> +Engineering+ Orbiting. You shouldn't have big calls for engine power for a while.

Sean Howard -> :: sighs, and yanks the capacitor out ::

Maryse Dubois -> ::Nods.:: Nasty stuff there.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ :: grunt ::

Marius Tr'Lorin -> ::close to the main controls, attempting to re-route power flow, and choosing to keep his distance from the cloaking device::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::glances up, lips taut, not amused, but glad the sensor sweep was clear::

Fae -> +Howard+ :: Blown kiss sounds ::

Sean Howard -> :: thankfully isn't shocked into next Tuesday, grabs a pair of tools from his belt to replace the bits in the capacitor that almost went kablooey ::

Tandaris Admiran -> Crewman Kent> ::glares at Marius, making up for lost time::

Victria -> ::She flicked a hand at the alarms ringing on her screen and leaned forward to get a look, frowning slightly as the makeshift cloak caused issues. To be expected with such a crude design.::

Rue Wydown -> I am concerned about what their first officer told me. Especially about the abduction part.

Sean Howard -> :: gets those bits replaced, shoves the capacitor back in and rebolts it in place ::

Maryse Dubois -> Oh really? ::Leans forward, intruiged.::

Sean Howard -> :: after locking it up, heads over to the console and, with a quick prayer, runs the power back through the capacitor ::

DervtRahks -> #::gives final orders to load up the rest of the weapons to move to the new location::

Sean Howard -> :: sighs, this time in relief, as it goes back to working normally again; heads back to his own console after ditching his work gloves and looks over the data from that episode ::

Marius Tr'Lorin -> ::glances at Sean, guesses from his expression that the capacitor issue was fixed::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::working through the sensor frequencies to compensate for the cloaking device, and preps to execute the beacon signal::

Rue Wydown -> According to her, three of their senior officers, including a handful of junior officers and crew members were abducted by these Oests. They were studied and were used in some sort of breeding program.

Sean Howard -> Well, that was close.

Victria -> ::She logged off and rose to her feet, coding herself into the armory to speak with the arms master.::

Maryse Dubois -> ::Nods:: I got a few scans o Dr. Weber... Do they know how they were abducted?

Rue Wydown -> When they started to make their escape, they came to find several different races held captive for the same reason.

Sean Howard -> Doesn't look like we can run that kind of power while that blasted thing is running. We'll either have to go slower or shut down non-essential systems to give us a power buffer.

Rue Wydown -> A higher level of technology was used. They were taken from their ship in full view of their crewmates through the sheilding.

Maryse Dubois -> ::Curious.:: Could they identify the other races?

Marius Tr'Lorin -> ::smirks:: just a bit. I suppose we figured it'd take a bit of experimentation.

Rue Wydown -> Jem Haddar, Klingon, Breen, and a half dozen other species throughout the Alpha and Gamma Quadrants.

Sean Howard -> Pity we couldn't experiment with it on an unmanned vessel from a few lightyears away.

Maryse Dubois -> Wow...

Sean Howard -> Guess I'll give them the news up top.

Marius Tr'Lorin -> ::laughs:: I'm honestly not surprised when this sort of thing happens anymore.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ Howard to Waters.

Fae -> +Howard+ Fae here.

Marius Tr'Lorin -> ::checks a few last measurement ratings, then begins heading back to his worktable::

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ As you might have noticed, we had a bit of a blip with the cloak. Too much power running, and when you backed down on the warp power it fed into the inefficient capacitor. <c>

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ So in the future, we'll either have to cap at warp 5 with the cloak running, or to go at 7.5 we'll need to shut down all non-essential systems.

Rue Wydown -> At any rate. There's something I need ye to do, luv.

Maryse Dubois -> Sure. What is it?

Fae -> +Howard+ The odd thing is that I cut down to warp 1 a minute before breaking warp. I just wanted to lessen the warp trail into the system.

Fae -> +Howard+ It was a transition from Warp 1 to normal space that caused the glitch. You ought to be able to handle that. The 7.5 to 1 transition was fine.

DervtRahks -> #Mnek'rah, that is the last of it. Ie'yakk h'nah, fire upon and destroy the base, leave na evidence. Then we hna.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ M/ARA keeps the power setting up for 90 seconds unless there's a manual override to lower it in case it's needed. We're lucky someone didn't flush one too many toilet while we were running and cause the same problem.

Rue Wydown -> This. ::puts the probe down in the middle of her desk, it's a small capsle device:: I want you to figure out how this thing works and how to counteract it if possible.

Maryse Dubois -> ::Looks at the object before picking it up, holding it closer.;: What is it?

Fae -> +Waters+ So I should have cut down to Warp 1 two minutes ahead? Futz. This is getting complicated. Anyway, I'll tell the Pippy people to hold to 5 for now.

Fae -> (Howard)

DervtRahks -> # ::watches as the ship fires phaser banks and finally two torpedos down at the former base down below, obliterating what evidenc they could, and then orders them to leave orbit.::

Maryse Dubois -> <<lol stop paging yoursel.>>

Maryse Dubois -> *f

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ Aye. And even then I'd appreciate if you'd signal down here if you're dropping warp and expecting to stay with the reduced power so we can cut the power down before the programmed time, for safety's sake.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::tapping her console, noting some residual ion trails -- very faint -- and likely not noticeable to an untrained eye::

Fae -> +Howard+ Noted. I'll forward you our plotted course, and try to discourage short notice changes too.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ Much obliged.

Charlotte Matsumura -> (( ... some sort of seismic anomaly. Anything but a submarine... ))

Fae -> +Howard+ Impulse shouldn't be a problem? Just big changes in warp speeds?

Fae -> +Howard+ And do you expect headaches with weapons discharges?

Rue Wydown -> Some sort of behavior modification device. It was inplant under the skin ::she motioned where she found it on Kwai's body:: and the Oest had some sort of transmitting device in their wrist bands. That one is from Captain Kwai's body. The Republic retained the other two devices to take back to HQ.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ Impulse barely puts a dent in power usage, so no problem there. And as we can't fire when cloaked we'll have the power away from the cloak before anyone pushes the big red buttons up there. Hopefully.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Watches as his crew preforms like a well oiled machine, easing some of his reservations about taking Excalibur on this mission::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::notes a few other "roads to nowhere," with the ships that left them light years away by now::

Fae -> +Howard+ Good enough. Just don't expect long warnings before pusshing red buttons. Things get hectic up here when we're pushing red buttons. But I'll tell you what. I'll flash red lights and ring sirens if things look ugly.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ :: chuckles :: Whatever works. Though now that I think on it, I think we can scratch powering up weapons while we're at warp with the cloak on. So long as tactical doesn't flood the phaser arrays doing so after going to sublight should be fine.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::blinks, overhearing Howard::

Maryse Dubois -> Interesting...::Puts the probe back on her desk.::

Victria -> ::She reviewed the figures of their active weapons and those still yet to be repaired, finding their reserves adequate. The weapons she'd taken to Engineering had also been restored, though not returned. She made not to pick those up later.::

Charlotte Matsumura -> Please inform Mister Howard that any delay in bringing up my weapons systems will be unacceptable.

Sean Howard -> (( we fix 'em, but you have to handle shipping, Vic ))

Fae -> +Howard+ If you could write up a simplified set of dos and don'ts that can be followed when everything is crazy, I'd appreciate it, and so will the rest of us bridge jockies.

Victria -> (( I was hoping for the free super-saver shipping on items over $30.00 ))

Rue Wydown -> Dubois, where I took that probe out should not have affected Kwai in the way she described. There's got to be more to that thing that meets the eye.

Laarell -> (Or you could just have a Prime account and get two-day shipping for free all the time. :))

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ Aye, I was planning on updating that, but I wanted to give you the basics so you'd at least know the old set is ready for the recycle bin.

Charlotte Matsumura -> (( Pays for itself every Christmas... ))

Maryse Dubois -> ::Nods.:: I see. I'll look into it. If anything it'll giveme an interesting little project.

Fae -> +Howard+ Your ability to induce crazyness is much appreciated. Thanks much.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Leans back in his chair:: Hopefully our contact will be able to arrive without incident.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Would hate for their trip to end before it started::

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ :: snort :: I just deal with the pile of dung that's laid at my feet. Howard out.

Charlotte Matsumura -> +Howard+ Mister Howard, this is Lieutenant Matsumura at tactical. Please be aware that any delay in powering up weapons systems when they are needed will be unacceptable.

Rue Wydown -> :;frowning:: Interesting yes. But I need results too.

Laarell -> K> ::nod, Horta-style::

Laarell -> (oh lord what did we do)

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::taking straight to the source since Waters seems fit to ignore her::

Fae -> Things look quiet so far, Captain... Though Engineering isn't crazy about running the cloak above warp five. Funny stuff might happens as we break warp.

NDak -> << Before or after au stole across into the Outmarches with a cloaking device? >>

Laarell -> (I protested that)

Maryse Dubois -> You'll get them, I promise.

Fae -> (Her protest makes it all right, I'm sure.)

Sean Howard -> +Matsumura+ With all do respect, ma'am, if you power up weapons systems before the power's settled the explosions will not be of the variety to make you or I happy. We'll do everything possible to keep it snappy, but we didn't pick this up off the...

Sean Howard -> high-end cloak rack at the store.

Charlotte Matsumura -> +Howard+ May I suggest a standby mode, rather than a complete reroute or shut down, then?

Rue Wydown -> Thanks. ::thinking she owes it to the Trill too: Keep me posted on your progress, aye?

Maryse Dubois -> I will.

Charlotte Matsumura -> +Howard+ Given our current predicament, seconds will be crucial.

Laarell -> (Why darlings, don't you know I'm the *only* thing that matters?)

Cptn Corizon -> I assume the Durbian system is free of any uncloaked vessels? The Romulans are notorious for having ships "wander" across into the zone due to "navigational difficulties."

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::to Cori:: Sensors are clear of any contacts at present, Captain.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Smirk:: I suppose if we got caught we could claim the same, ye?

Sean Howard -> +Matsumura+ We'll look into that, as well as this that and the other thing, ma'am. Believe me, I don't want to be caught with our pants down and our gun stuck in those lowered pants to boot.

Laarell -> K> Maybe if we didn't have a cloak...

Cptn Corizon -> ::Smirks, fangily at the Horta:: Cloak, what cloak?

Charlotte Matsumura -> +Howard+ I appreciate your... candor... in the matter. Please advise when you have a solution. Matsumura out.

Fae -> +Corizon+ Nothing has popped up on routine sensors. We've had enough funny stuff happening with the cloak that I haven't tried to get fancy or persistent.

Laarell -> K> Point taken.

Sean Howard -> :: sighs as the comm finally ends :: I ought to give the back of my hand to Montogomery Scott for giving engineers the miracle-worker moniker.

Fae -> Are you going to blame everything on my inability to navigate? Is that right? Is that fair? :: very poor pretense at being indignant ::

Cptn Corizon -> << Just send Marius to play with it. I mean Romulans are good with that sort of thing, and he *loves* cloaking devices, right? >>

Marius Tr'Lorin -> <<-.->>

Maryse Dubois -> <<zzzappp>>

Maryse Dubois -> <<Sure he does :D >>

Rue Wydown -> ::standing up, cracking knuckles a little:: Now, I've got see a man about a machine. ::she grinned:: Unless you have any further questions?

Marius Tr'Lorin -> <<I refuse to be anywhere near that thing.>>

Cptn Corizon -> << I like to think of cloaking devices constructed by Tandaris to be a little but like Bug Zappers >>

Sean Howard -> :: looks around :: I take it the Chief built this monstrosity then disappeared to drop dealing with it in our laps.

Maryse Dubois -> <<Aw but this one is different.>>

Tandaris Admiran -> <<Perk of the job, Sean.>>

Maryse Dubois -> ::Shakes her head.;: No Commander. I'll see what I can do about this little thing here.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Waters:: Drop us into a tight orbit of which ever moon. Tight as you can get without the moon's gravitational field effecting the cloak.

Victria -> ::Satisfied, she checked out her own weapon and exited the armory, moving out on patrol while she had the chance.::

Marius Tr'Lorin -> Sean:: I wouldn't be surprised.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::tapping a few more commands into the sensor panel, prepping to compensate for the magnetic fields *and* the cloak and whatever else gets tossed their way...::

Sean Howard -> :: sighs :: Oh well. I suppose the overtime will look good on my record during the court martial. Break the law and work extra hard at it.

Fae -> Tight. Aye aye.

Fae -> :: Moves down to a half standard orbit for a start ::

Sean Howard -> :: starts sifting through all that data, making more refined notes to assmble into a new operations manual ::

Rue Wydown -> Don't loose it, or it'll be your hide. ::she leaves Marye's office and heads out of sickbay::

Marius Tr'Lorin -> ::smirks:: You never run out of quirky things to say, do you?

Fae -> +Howard+ Silly question? How close, hypothetically, can we get to a moon without the gravitational pull creating problems, and how much warning will you want before we try it?

Cptn Corizon -> ::Matsumura:: Begin broadcasting that narrow band transmission.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::nods to Cori:: Aye, sir.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ Depends on the size of the moon? Are we talking a potato like Mars' or a big one like Earth's?

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::executes signal::

Charlotte Matsumura -> Transmission is active.

Fae -> +Howard+ :: Feeds him the basic information about the moon we're orbiting :: Bout that big.

Cptn Corizon -> < We will run a few minutes over to compensate for our start time. >>

Sean Howard -> :: looks, makes a few calculations ::

Rue Wydown -> ::chews on her thumbnail as she enters the lift:: <q>Heaven help us all.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ I'd keep it over 150k since this one has no atmosphere. And as for warning, :: checks their current orbital altitude :: about 200 klicks ago would've been good. :: sounds slightly amused though ::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Frowns:: Let's hope that the Ambassador's ship wasn't intercepted and/or followed.

Fae -> +Howard+ OK. I'll be working it slowly down to 150K. Yell, scream and holler when you want me to steady it out.

Sean Howard -> (( 150 km, not 150,000 of whatever unit ))

Cptn Corizon -> ::They did have a rather spotty track record as of late with the survival of ambassadors from Romulus meeting Corizon::

Fae -> Yah. We've got a bad track record with ambassadors.

Cptn Corizon -> << LOL >>

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ Understood.

Sean Howard -> :: goes back to the data and writing Running an Akira with a Cloak for Dummies ::

Cptn Corizon -> << Technically, this is the second cloak we've ran on this ship! >>

Fae -> Engineering says we can go sight seeing at 150 km, but I'm going to go down slow to give him a chance to spot any interferance.

Cptn Corizon -> << Though the last one was a bit less, refined? >>

Cptn Corizon -> ::Nods::

Fae -> :: Pulls down fairly quickly to 400 KM, than very slowly takes her down from there. ::

Cptn Corizon -> We might need to know that later if we have to enter inhabited systems.

Cptn Corizon -> Thankfully, the Romulans don't trouble themselves with any fancy tachyon detection grids like we do.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::having to make manual shifts to sensor frequencies, as they creep in on the moon, and make adjustments to the cloak::

Fae -> Not the time to test to destruction, though, I'd assume.

Maryse Dubois -> <<Yeah ask Marius about the 1st cloak.>>

Laarell -> K> Hopefully...

Cptn Corizon -> Still we can't really risk being visable.

Sean Howard -> :: adds in the orbital suggestions, with the caveat that any body with an atmosphere will have residual ionization that will create an increase in orbital altitude requirment based on atmospheric density ::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::thinking that, if we can't risk being visible, perhaps we shouldn't be here to begin with... But doesn't give voice to those objections::

Marius Tr'Lorin -> <<my impression is that this cloak isn't much better in terms of refinement. lol>>

Sean Howard -> :: not to mention the persnickety nature of a body's magnetic fields... sees this chapter is going to be a long one ::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::instead, refocusses on the tasks at hand::

Cptn Corizon -> << It has Romulan parts! >>

Fae -> I'll play it conservative, then, and level up at first sign of trouble.

Laarell -> ::would have spoken up::

Cptn Corizon -> << It's like, your technolgical twin >>

Cptn Corizon -> ::Nods::

Laarell -> ::but busy "reading reports", which was Orion for "pouting and being miserable"::

Rue Wydown -> ::stepping out onto the bridge, feeling a sense of....tension.....in the air?::

Sean Howard -> :: gets a bleep, looks it over and makes a bleep of his own ::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::glancing up as Rue steps out of the lift, giving her a terse nod, lips taut::

NDak -> ACTION> Excalibur finally recieves a response to their transmission, a very, very narrow band response, audio only.

Fae -> :: down angles the forward view a bit. If we're this close to the surface of the moon, might as well put on a bit of a show. ::

Marius Tr'Lorin -> <<and I suppose that means it'll actually like me, and give me more like a love shock than a bolt of death?>>

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ Looks like there's some residual ionization in orbit from recently orbiting spacecraft.

Fae -> Incoming message....

Fae -> :: Looks to Charloote ::

Cptn Corizon -> << You may or may not be able to have children when it's done Marius >>

Fae -> :: Tries to spot the ionization ::

Charlotte Matsumura -> Seems to be an answer to our... hail, sir.

Maryse Dubois -> <<At least you won't have an angry Klingon doctor at the side of your bed.>>

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::washing it through the demod::

Cptn Corizon -> Put it through...

Fae -> :: Tries to figure out if the signal source is also the ionization source ::

Fae -> :: Puts it up on bridge audio ::

Tandaris Admiran -> ACTION> The cloaking device has not started emitting radiation that would inhibit Marius from having children. Yet.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::checks decryption algorhythm and finds they are synched::

Victria -> (( Yet. ))

Sean Howard -> (( :: that's good, I'm the one that's been playing with it, not him :: ))

Marius Tr'Lorin -> <<rofl maryse>>

NDak -> N'Kedre> +Excalibur+ Jolan tru and bedah to the Outmarches... or as au people call it the Neutral Zone, Riov Corizon.

Sean Howard -> :: resumes working on the primer ::

Rue Wydown -> <q>Well, this is an interesting development. :;watching the viewscreen::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::still doing sensor sweeps as best she can, while also keeping an eye on the signal traffic::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Perks his ears:: +N'Kedre+ Thanks, Ambassador. Glad you could stop buy, but I am disappointed. I'd heard Romulans were so very welcoming. Not even a welcome gift.

Sean Howard -> Do something to a ship that isn't in the operational manual, and you have to re-write the operational manual to keep the ship running.

NDak -> N'Kedre> +Excalibur+ Don't au people have a saying about Rihannsu bearing gifts?

Cptn Corizon -> ::Looks over at Rue with a wide smirk::

Marius Tr'Lorin -> ::still avoiding doing anything related to the cloak::

Cptn Corizon -> +Excalibur+ Likely. I suppose we should get down to buisness, yes?

Fae -> :: Decides not to repeat any such sayings with the comm open. ::

Sean Howard -> :: appreciates that Marius is seeing to the rest of engineering matters, as the cloak is keeping him from monitoring other systems ::

Fae -> :: Slows the descent even further ::

Rue Wydown -> ::shakes her head, moving to a side station and watching the exchange of information occur::

NDak -> N'Kedre> +Excalibur+ Ie, as much as I enjoy au ... diplomatic skills, we should na keep this channel open long. Also, I'd rather na tell au the information I have over an open line. Transmit transport coordinates and I will meet au shortly.

Sean Howard -> :: mutters over a particularly tricky bit ::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Glances to Rue again:: Now that's a leap of faith.

Rue Wydown -> And who's going to jump first?

Tandaris Admiran -> <<Good night>>

Cptn Corizon -> We didn't come this far to start playing it safe.

Fae -> :: Waits on instructions to send coordinates ::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Fae/Charlotte:: Transmit transporter coordinates and have security meet myself and the Ambassador in the transporter room.

Marius Tr'Lorin -> <<I have to leave as well. Goodnight all!>>

Fae -> :: Sends over TR1 coordinates ::

Cptn Corizon -> << 20 second warning >>

Sean Howard -> :: gets it figured out, inputs that into his Guide for Successfully Circumventing Treaty for 40 Strips of Latinum per Day ::

Cptn Corizon -> PAUSE SIM

Cptn Corizon -> PAUSE SIM

Cptn Corizon -> PAUSE SIM

Fae -> +Security+ Ambassador coming aboard TR1 to meet the captain. Expedite.

Maryse Dubois -> ::paused::

Sean Howard -> :: paused ::

Fae -> :: Paused ::

Cptn Corizon -> I won't keep you all long as we ran over; sorry about the late start.

Cptn Corizon -> TBS will be on the boards mid-week after I get a log out. Questions?

Cptn Corizon -> If none, have a good week!
