Ayumu Kasuga -> ::climbs off:: Oops, sorry

 

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::continued repeated communication attempts, hoping that mutt Corizon catches a bad case of fleas::

Joy -> :: wonders if anyone is going to take the canine's name in vain. ::

Blu> Would it really be the first time?

 

LtCmdrRobinson -> ::was on the bridge, cause he's the XO and important now::

August Jax Robinson -> ::Looks over at Will:: you know you stand funny when you are left in charge up here

Capt Rian Kwai -> ::glares at Robinson, he's supposed to be helping out, not letting things like this happen::

Capt Rian Kwai -> ::decides to make Will make Fiona go over to the "E" later, he can handle that battle after helping to lose Excalibur earlier::

Joy -> It's good to know when to leave the ship, isn't it?

Heather Jamieson -> :: zooms and enhances the view :: "My delicates did not know when to leave the ship. Look.." :: points ::

Joy -> Oh, dear. Does this mean we're going to have to classify the footage?

Blu> Heather, you shouldn't be drying your delicates through the hull breach..

 

Capt Rian Kwai -> Then don't sugar coat it with Starfleet Command, Kasuga. They dropped us off in the middle of nowhere.

Joy -> Technically, Rian, we are 2.56 light years off the exact center of nowhere, but close enough.

But we're still better of here than where they picked us up.

Capt Rian Kwai -> Just because they dropped us off in the right neighborhood does not make it okay for them to not fulfill their orders. What are we supposed to do? Space walk back?

Capt Rian Kwai -> Robinson, you had the bridge. Why in the universe did you not protest this?

Blu> And the blame game continues

LtCmdrRobinson -> ::shrugs:: I wasn't in a position to stop it, it's not like I could have fired on them and made them stay. I don't know what got into them.

Blu> Wait..so all I have to do to not have Will shoot at me, is write USS Excalibur across my forehead?

 

Heather Jamieson -> "Joy, should I feel any better adrift in the alpha quadrant?"

Joy -> I find being in Federation space comforting. Perhaps I'm just old fashioned.

Blu> Impulse isn't adrift, it just feels like it..

Capt Rian Kwai -> That would be most appreciated, Jax.

STSF_BluRox -> @ We will have to see about that. For the time being, SF Medical still has me on light duty, and I will be, for some time it seems.

Blu> Did not become an Admiral by not knowing when to stall, nor when not to get my ass kicked again.

Capt Rian Kwai -> I didn't lose our escort. They left us. Kind of like dumping a date by sneaking out through the bathroom window.

Cmdr Holly -> @ Ah, the new guy....Welcome. We'll be arriving shortly. The captain gave you the manifest yes?

Blu> Hey, New guy, until we get another new guy. So, new guy, tell your friends to join, so you're no longer the new guy. But don't tell them that's why they should join, cause they might not like being the 'new guy' either.

Capt Rian Kwai -> Do we have an ID on that ship?

Ayumu Kasuga -> Ship ID is not in the database, but it is a Starfleet match

Capt Rian Kwai -> Hail them. I want to know exactly who's picking us up. We've all ready had problems with our last escort; I don't want this one to be messing with us again.

Blu> If you don't like the ride, we can go back without you? And yet, not a soul mentioned going to yellow alert..

Capt Rian Kwai -> +Holly+ Yes, that's exactly what I mean. You're supposed to remain with Republic, not island hop with whatever ship you find attractive.

Capt Rian Kwai -> ::also thinks Holly stole the ship::

Holly> I'm hurt!! And after I risked myself not only blowing up the OEST, but the wormhole ...bunch of ingrates I work with.

 

LtCmdrRobinson -> ::wishes Kwai would not try to upset Holly when she has a brand new starship versus our damaged half of one::

Holly> yea, cause it's a long trip on impulse

 

LtCdrJohnson -> ::takes a look at some of the engineering reports of the damage done to the ship, thinking that a re-fit won't be enough::

Blu> Not unless you have a new drive system sitting around somewhere.

Joy -> Holly is an AI, a persona that has lurked in our computer since before there was a Republic D

Heather Jamieson -> "I thought there were countermeasures to prevent AI's on starships."

Joy -> She is the reason I advised you to avoid a certain holodeck where she normally lurks. Sometimes

temperamental, but sometimes very useful.

Blu> Yea, but I snuck her back on anyway.

 

Jameson Bardolph -> ::can see the really, really nice looking ship drop out; whistles under his breath:: Damn me, lass, who are you?

Blu> Barcode may be distracted from Jax after all.

 

STSF_BluRox -> ::walks into the center of the bridge, crossing her arms:: USS REPUBLIC-D, Please inform your captain and first officer that the USS REPUBLIC-E, will be relieving you of any critically wounded patients, families and non-essential crew members. Have your ops officer coordinate with Ensign James Fenn aboard our ship. Crew quarters will not be assigned for this short hop, as we've to decide who will be reporting aboard this new ship just yet.

Blu> Fenn's making out like gangbusters. Not only did he just join the crew, but he's already gotten to kick the Admiral, and be Acting CSEC of the new ship for 2 days

 

Ayumu Kasuga -> Republic-E?

Blu> Yea, the ship finally lost its saving throw. 13 years against my dice was a pretty good run.

 

STSF_BluRox -> My first officer Holly, will assist you as well in the transfer of your personnel

Cmdr Holly -> Yes, finally recognized for what I should be!

STSF_BluRox -> Holly..enough, you knew this was not permanent.

STSF_BluRox -> ::still unhappy with Kwai for breaking her trust, but needs to make amends for Quarks the other day::

Capt Rian Kwai -> ::taking her seat again, frowning, not happy that Holly's running the show at the moment::

Blu> XO Envy.Holly's got a better ship!

 

Fiona Weber -> ::studying the Jamestown::

LtCmdrRobinson -> <Fiona has head trauma, obviously she needs to stay in sickbay for several more months>

STSF_BluRox -> +Kwai+ I would like to formally apologize to you for my behavior in Quarks the other day. I was out of line, and should have kept our disagreement in private.

Cmdr Holly -> ::glaring a bit at Kwai for selling Blu out, knowing Blu is still under medical restrictions for some time::

Capt Rian Kwai -> +BluRox+ I apologize as well. ::nods a little, clenching her jaw::

STSF_BluRox -> :::trying not to let them see her paws behind her back, digging her claws into her palms and slightly drawing blood, but knowing this was the right thing to do for the sake of the crew::

Cmdr Holly -> ::watches Blu:: Hey kitty....don't' hurt yourself ::whispers::

STSF_BluRox -> ::looks over at Holly, had been unaware she was doing that::

Blu> Hates to apologize "for anything", make a note, it don't happen often. Do you get the feeling that neither Blu nor Kwai are too sincere at the moment?

 

Cmdr Holly -> <ah, a ship with holo emitters built throughout, so I can be free and go anywhere!>

Capt Rian Kwai -> ((Crap. Holly on the loose. Remind me to disable the one in my room))

[Capt Rian Kwai] Nice joy guys. So next week - Mars station. We get to decommission the D and move into the E.
