USS Excalibur

Here you go - It's both attached and below. Enjoy!

Cptn Corizon -> MISSION BRIEF: Excalibur has dropped off the Republic half-way to Earth and has peeled off under the guise of returning to the Gamma Quadrant.

Cptn Corizon -> Questions?

Fae -> I might need to know the real course.... :)

STSF_BluRox -> <which answers you rep' folks questions if you're needed, so no>

STSF_BluRox -> Action: Republic once again left alone under impulse, on way to Earth

Victria -> We're going to Risa!

Ayumu Kasuga -> Hey! What kind of AAA service is this?

Cptn Corizon -> LOL

Cptn Corizon -> Alrighty...

Cptn Corizon -> BEGIN SIM

Cptn Corizon -> BEGIN SIM

Cptn Corizon -> BEGIN SIM

Fae -> If Risa learns we have been with the Republic, might not be the best time to go to Risa.

Sean Howard -> :: enters ME while sipping from a big spill-proof mug of tea ::

Fae -> +Republic+ Second star on the right, and straight on till morning. Good sailing!

Cptn Corizon -> ::Stepping out on the bridge, Corizon dropped his tea cup in the fresher and headed towards his chair::

Ayumu Kasuga -> !@#$%^&*() +Excalibur+ Well, isn't that just a big how do you do?

Ayumu Kasuga -> !@#$^&*() +Excal+ God speed, I guess

Sean Howard -> :: settles in at his usual spot, does a quick check of the systes to see how everything is doing ::

Fae -> +Republic+ Just an old fictional refrence. God speed as well, then.

Sean Howard -> systems*

Cptn Corizon -> << ::glowers:: I swore I posted a Mission Summary update that had all that in it! Must have forgot to hit post. >>

Laarell -> ::looks over to Corizon::

Fae -> :: Though she hasn't heard much good about encounters with gods. ::

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::shrugs and continues the journey back to Earth on impulse::

Ayumu Kasuga -> !@#$%^&*()

Cptn Corizon -> Bring us about, make course for DS9 Warp7.

Mark Garrison -> ::sitting casually at Tactical::

Rue Wydown -> ::entering the bridge after a brief stop over a few decks down::

Ayumu Kasuga -> !@#$%^&*() Still saved us some time, atleast...

Fae -> DS9 at warp 7, aye.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::having tired of sitting at a desk, opted to make a few rounds during shift::

Fae -> :: Brings her around and lines her up on course using thrusters ::

Fae -> Engaging in five.

Fae -> :: Brings her up slowly through the warp levels. No need to stress things at this point. ::

STSF_BluRox -> <<and yes, Republic Away Team symbol does also stand for cursing out dogs> lol

Cptn Corizon -> +Engineering+ Corizon to Engineering...

Fae -> << I'm sure the Yorktown will pick you up for the rest of the tow... eventually >>

Sean Howard -> +Corizon+ Engineering here, Captain. What can I do for ya?

Rue Wydown -> ::frowning a bit, had heard about the drop off of Republic, knowing that this might not look good for any of their careers...dropping a ship a few blocks shy of the gas station, so to speak::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Frowns, had hoped to get Admiran:: +Howard+ I was calling for your chief to see if a certain present he'd been working on for me is done.

Laarell -> ::raises an eyebrow, looking right at Corizon::

Laarell -> ::hasn't heard about this::

Sean Howard -> +Corizon+ I'm afraid I don't know where he's wandered off to, perhaps he's off buying wrapping paper. I know he was tinkering with it when possibe during the tow, but I couldn't tell you if he's finished.

Sean Howard -> :: watches Tandy enter :: Well speak of the spotted devil... Captain on the line for you, Commander.

Mark Garrison -> ::glances at Laarell's look, but doesn't turn to Corizon, as its much harder to spy at the Captain from Tactical::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Was rather pleased that Tandaris hadn't told anyone yet what he was working on, he didn't like his surprises for everyone being spoiled.::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Fae:: How long until we're out of range of the Republic's sensors?

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::appreciative of the solo wandering, needing time to think and clear her head::

Fae -> :: With the ship settled in at Warp 7, starts returning the tractor systems to normal configuations, runs diagnostics, and checks to see if there are any recommended maintanence procedures... ::

Victria -> ::Victria stood looking at the makings of her program in the holodeck, circling the holographic representation of the Klingon that had already been loaded into the data banks. She frowned at it, wondering if it really simulated the real thing.::

Fae -> Oh... bout 10 minutes unless they are paying us particularly close attention.

Tandaris Admiran -> ::Sean:: Oh really?

Sean Howard -> He's asking about his present, wondering if he gets to unwrap it yet.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Nods to Fae:: +Howard+ Well is Mister Admiran around then?

Tandaris Admiran -> Oh

Tandaris Admiran -> ::Sean:: You did hook up that EPS tap, yes?

Sean Howard -> +Corizon+ Right here sir, just filling him in on your request.

Sean Howard -> I did, yes. That was the last item on the list you gave me.

Tandaris Admiran -> Oh good.

Rue Wydown -> I think the flying waffle has a bit more to worry about than us.

Tandaris Admiran -> +Corizon+ Hello, captain.

Laarell -> ::snort:: I'd hate to be on that ship.

Mark Garrison -> ::frowns, knowing from experience that when Corizon has Tandaris working on secret projects, bad things were usually abound::

Cptn Corizon -> +Admiran+ Oh, Good. ::Almost grinning:: Are we functional then?

Tandaris Admiran -> +Corizon+ Today's forecast calls for not being seen. And there is a good chance that we will not explode on activation.

Laarell -> ::shudders::

Fae -> I don't know. The upside of being on a wrecked ship is that they sometimes give you a new one.

Rue Wydown -> I'd hate to be us when the Admiral finds out we left before their escort could come and get them.

Tandaris Admiran -> ::double-checks some of the math:: Carry the three . . . yes, not explode. Not exploding is the order of the day.

Fae -> Well, right now we're faster than the Admiral.

Sean Howard -> :: smiles :: That's always a plus.

Ayumu Kasuga -> !@#$%^&*() ::is, unfortunately, on that ship. Too busy piloting the ship hope and looking for another tow truck to take us home...:: I wonder if Manticore is available? ::they're a tugboat, so they'd probably be less inclined to hitch and ditch them::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Despite knowing what he was about to do wasn't really a good idea and that he didn't particularly like that he was having to do it this way, or that he was doing it with the help of Semil, there was something rather exciting about throwing it all out on the line now and then like they used to in the old days::

Fae -> And we have a captain who is a right proper expert at handling admirals that are mad at him.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Smirks::

Rue Wydown -> What? He shoots them?

Cptn Corizon -> I have no idea what you're talking about Mister Waters.

Fae -> Or course not, Captain.

Cptn Corizon -> Speaking of which...

Mark Garrison -> ::really wishing he hadn't picked up the bridge shift right now. He should have stayed in his office, and filed paperwork. No, now he had to be a witness to Corizon's eventual insanity::

Cptn Corizon -> Are we our of range of the Republic, or close enough?

Rue Wydown -> Sir. Seriously. I don't think it was wise to leave the Republic without it's escort. StarFleet sort of frowns on that behavior. ::frowning herself::

Sean Howard -> I suppose I'd better spool up the M/ARA a bit more, the Captain's present isn't going to work with only hamsters running on a wheel. :: preps the power for activation ::

Fae -> He wouldn't shoot them, Commander. We'll just go somewhere crazy where non sensible admiral would think of following us.

STSF_BluRox -> <Ayumu, PM>

Fae -> Well, at least she's in friendlier territory than when we found her.

STSF_BluRox -> <remember....Right now>

Cptn Corizon -> ::Glances over at Wydown:: The Jamestown should be along soon enough. Besides, I have higher orders. ::He lied::

Ayumu Kasuga -> <got it, thanks>

Tandaris Admiran -> I've never been fond of the way Starfleet underpowers these vessels. Then again, I suppose the designers never expect you to go and install an illegal cloaking device of alien design.

Tandaris Admiran -> But they should!

Cptn Corizon -> ::Looks over to Waters speaking fo which...

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::frustrated over her time on DS9, on her assignment, and now with the radio silence from Mal::

Fae -> Yes, mister Captain sir?

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::wandering the corridors, a contemplative frown across her features, even as she stops and makes her checkpoints::

Cptn Corizon -> Mister Waters, lay in a course change for the Durbian system. Warp 7.5

Cptn Corizon -> ACTION> The Durbian system is in the Romulan Neutral Zone.

Sean Howard -> Sad but true, I suppose, sir. We'll be capped pretty well at warp 7.5 I think while that's running, if I figured the power right.

Ayumu Kasuga -> !@#$%^&*() At least, we're closer to Earth. ::no idea who she is talking to:: +Starfleet/Nearby ships+ This is the USS Republic, requesting transit or assistance back to Earth..

Fae -> Durbian... Durbian... :: Checks to see what where and why is a durbian... and lays it in. ::

Rue Wydown -> Whot? ::raising both brows, hearing the name of the system:

STSF_BluRox -> <he's best hope she don't find out he's lying, I think she'd neuter him for it. Makes for a bad CO/XO relationshp when you have to nueter your partner>

Fae -> I've a call coming in. USS Republic is looking for a tow...

Fae -> And I said we'd be out of range in ten minutes.... eight minutes ago.

Fae -> But who is couning?

Victria -> ::She winced as she raised her arm, feeling her cracked ribs pull painfully. She hissed and clutched her side.::

Cptn Corizon -> +Admiran+ Activate cloak.

Tandaris Admiran -> I remember the good old days, when Starfleet didn't even think of using cloaking devices in the Beta Quadrant. . . .

Tandaris Admiran -> ::hears Corizon:: Sean, throw the lever!

Mark Garrison -> ::looking down at his own display, he spun his chair around to face Corizon:: I assume you planed to brief us at some point?

Fae -> Cloak?

Sean Howard -> Yesterday was a good day, sir. :: does so :: There she goes.

STSF_BluRox -> <somebody just broke a treaty!>

Fae -> :: Starts looking for power distribution and sensor anomalies. ::

Mark Garrison -> ::glances to Fae, then back to Cori:: That too.

Ayumu Kasuga -> < :D >

Laarell -> ::turns back to the dog::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Mark:: I did have that plan, yes. However due to regulartions I couldn't until we were enroute to Romulan space.

Tandaris Admiran -> Cloaking device> ::blurbles happily as its glittery pink rhinestone lever gets flipped to the "on" position::

Laarell -> You have to be joking.

Cptn Corizon -> ACTION> The Excalibur cloaks.

Laarell -> This was the plan all along? A cloaking device? ::shifts her weight in her chair::

Sean Howard -> :: frowns at the lever :: Was this in the starbase supplies, sir?

Tandaris Admiran -> ::shifty eyes:: No . . .

Cptn Corizon -> ::Glances at the Orion:: I don't believe I am joking, no.

Rue Wydown -> ::folds her arms, also not pleased::

Sean Howard -> Hmm... I don't think I want to know then.

Tandaris Admiran -> You sign up for _one_ interior design class. . . .

Mark Garrison -> ::Cori:: Yes, I suppose there's less objections after the fact of violating treaty regulations...

Fae -> Methinks I can guess where the missing parts went to?

Laarell -> Does someone back at command know that you're doing this, or is this just your own choice?

Laarell -> ::looks slightly annoyed::

Laarell -> ::and going to kill Tandaris for not mentioning this little enterprise::

Mark Garrison -> ::Frowns as well, almost more over idea of agreeing with Laarell::

Tandaris Admiran -> <<We don't sleep together anymore, dear. That makes pillow talk rather difficult.>>

Rue Wydown -> <m>Bloody hell. There goes most of our careers.

Cptn Corizon -> ::looks at Teykier:: I don't believe I said this was an open forum. Mister Waters, the Durbian system if you will.

Sean Howard -> :: looks over the readings :: Power drain as expected. Not seeing any problems right off the bat at least.

Fae -> Engaging Durban at 7.5

Laarell -> I mean, did you get a full-out order to break an interstellar treaty, or did you just... wake up one morning and say, "Oh, I think a cloak would be fun."

Laarell -> ::upset::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Was actually protecting all of their careers by having kept them in the dark::

STSF_BluRox -> <might as well start filling out the court martial papers now>

Fae -> :: Engages the change, watching the power flows very carefully ::

Laarell -> ::crosses her arms, shutting up, and looking fixedly at her console::

Tandaris Admiran -> ::Sean:: Good. Keep an eye on it--especially for surges. The last time we had one of those things, it loved to rupture EPS conduits. Mind you, I cobbled that one together from spare pieces of wrecked Gamma Quadrant ships. This one is much nicer.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Glances at Teykier:: That's quiet enough Commander, if you wish to leave the bridge you may do so. As I said, we have our orders.

Fae -> :: Has heard that cloaks draw lots of power, and wants to be sure engaging it while pushing 7.5 doesn't stress anything. ::

Sean Howard -> Aye, sir. Hopefully helm doesn't gun the engines though, otherwise we'll blink like a Christmas tree.

Rue Wydown -> Captain, can I speak to you for a moment, in private?

Mark Garrison -> ::frowns, turning back to Tactical, pursuing this right now would just be a waste of time::

Tandaris Admiran -> ::blinks::

Tandaris Admiran -> We'll be travelling faster than light . . .

Fae -> :: Doesn't think the green one is EVER quiet enough. ::

Tandaris Admiran -> No one will _see_ us blinking.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::pauses, moving to a wall console, and tapping in her access codes::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Looks over to Wydown:: Of course. My ready room?

Rue Wydown -> Please. ::trying not to scowl::

Fae -> :: Shuts down navigation lights and sets the communications gear to maintain silence, just for laughs ::

Sean Howard -> We'll leak the signal of our subspace field though which would be visiible, sir.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::the console registers her check-in, she pulls up a short overview of the current security log::

Tandaris Admiran -> Oh, right. Cloaking problems.

Tandaris Admiran -> Keep an eye on that too.

Laarell -> ::snorts::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Stands and motions to the RR:: Commander ::Teykier:: You have the conn, keep us on course.

Rue Wydown -> ((Where's the big red button when you need it?))

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::satisfied, she logs out of the panel, then moves on, making her way back to main security::

Tandaris Admiran -> Personally, I find cloaking devices a lot more work than they're worth. However, the captain gets what the captain wants. This time.

Sean Howard -> I don't suppose we got extra eyes out of the starbase supplies, I could stand to install an extra pair.

Laarell -> ::nods to Corizon, moves right to the center chair::

Rue Wydown -> ::heading to the ready room, taking a deep breath::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Heads into the Ready Room::

Tandaris Admiran -> Crewman Kent> ::has no problem performing his duties while simultaneously glaring at Sean with only a single pair of eyes::

Fae -> +Tandaris+ Engineering? Got a minute?

Laarell -> ::waits for Corizon to enter the ready room, looks to Fae:: Did we get any encrypted messages/top secret lately?

Rue Wydown -> ::waiting for the door to close behind them:: Permission to speak freely, Captain? ::giving him one of those looks that she used to give her patients back in the day::

Mark Garrison -> ::snorts:: So sutble.

Victria -> ::Working through the pain, she left the Klingon where he was standing and moved further into the program, beginning her warmup exercises. She withdrew her dual swords and stood perfectly still, closing her eyes and taking several deep breaths.::

Mark Garrison -> subtle*

Cptn Corizon -> ::Takes a seat on his desk:: Of course, Rue.

Fae -> None that I was cleared to read.

Fae -> But we were just at DS9. Who knows?

Mark Garrison -> ::Fae:: You would...I hope.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ They go by so fast, but I'm sure one will hold on long enough for you.

Sean Howard -> :: sets up a series of alerts to ping him if something goes off kilter ::

Tandaris Admiran -> +Fae+ What do you need, Waters?

Rue Wydown -> Are you out of your ever luvin' mind? Romulan space in a cloaked ship? Whot yahoo gave you permission to do this? He needs to be thrown in the loony bin and the key thrown away.

Fae -> +Tandaris+ Um... the ship is generating more power than is being used. I can guess where it is going. But... just for power management purposes, could you install a power flow sensor on that stolen tap of yours?

Cptn Corizon -> ::Nods:: I knew you wouldn't be happy about this.

Cptn Corizon -> Though in fairness, I've likely done worse things.

Sean Howard -> :: chuckles ::

Cptn Corizon -> ...possibly more illegal as well.

Tandaris Admiran -> +Fae+ Oh, not actually recording the power consumption of the cloaking device would have been very clever. ::Sean:: Make a note of that next time we build one. ::back to Fae:: No, that was just an oversight. We just installed the tap this morning.

Fae -> Hmm... OK. I'm going to assume we all don't have a need to know about the captain's mail.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Sobers:: I am sorry I didn't tell you before, but I felt the less you knew the better. That way if something went wrong, I can take the fall and you could say you were only following my orders.

Rue Wydown -> Ye think? And it doesn't matter whot you've done the past...it's whot you're doing now. Did ye think of those people out there? ::points at the doorway:: Their careers are on the line with this...this...::mumbles something unintellegible::

Sean Howard -> :: chuckles again ::

Mark Garrison -> ::walks over to Laarell:: So, how long till the inevitable interstellar incident, you think?

Tandaris Admiran -> ::not nearly as clever as people give him credit for being::

Ayumu Kasuga -> !@#$%^&*() ::continues hailing home and scanning for nearby ships with no luck so far as she pilots Rep back to Earth as fast as she can::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Shakes his head:: I did think about that; that's why I didn't brief anyone on this little scheme.

Fae -> +Tandaris+ Thought so. Not a biggie. I just find it easier to map power if I know what power is being used. Silly of me.

Sean Howard -> Not an oversight, technically. I purposefully didn't include anyone but your or my authorization to access it.

Rue Wydown -> Maybe it works that way at Disneyland, but it doesn't in the real world.

Cptn Corizon -> You all are just following my orders.

Sean Howard -> :: adds Ops to the party now that the cat is out of the bag ::

Tandaris Admiran -> ::Sean:: Well, I think the secret is no longer so secret.

Fae -> +Tandarids+ Thanks.

Rue Wydown -> I didn't call ye out on it on that bridge because ye deserve some respect. I would assume that ye would give me some too and tell me what you're up to.

Sean Howard -> Aye, just changed the permissions.

Tandaris Admiran -> Speaking of which, I suppose I should congratulate you on your first morally-ambiguous, technically illegal operation aboard the Excalibur.

Rue Wydown -> This going off the reservation stuff......it's not proper.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Frowns:: I was trying to protect you, Rue.

Sean Howard -> :: grins :: The first, hopefully not the last, either because it does explode or someone blows us up for having it.

Cptn Corizon -> If you want to know, I will bring you in, but understand you're coming in all the way.

Cptn Corizon -> There's no fencing riding on this one.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::still rolling things over in her mind, heads into main security, making her way over to the duty desk::

Mark Garrison -> ::frowns, debating informing Victria and Charlotte, but without any real intel, there wasn't much point::

Rue Wydown -> I'm not going to ride a fence, but I'm also trying to figure out how we're going to keep ourselves from going underwater on this one.

Mark Garrison -> ::glances around. He just didn't like the bridge::

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ Are you having to short anyone on power alotments up there? I can eek out a wee bit more before the M/ARA and Cdr Admiran will start giving me dirty looks.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Rue:: By succeeding.

Laarell -> (Sorry, was AFK)

Rue Wydown -> Whot's our chances at that, luv?

Cptn Corizon -> ::Smiles::

Laarell -> ::Mark:: I frankly am tempted to speak to a few associates back at Earth.

Rue Wydown -> You actually have a plan or are we making it up as we go along?

Cptn Corizon -> When has that stopped us?

Laarell -> This is absolutely uncalled for. He's gambling with our lives, careers, and trust.

Cptn Corizon -> I do have a plan and an exit strategy.

Cptn Corizon -> Starfleet has not sancationed this mission, officially. In fact only the Commander of ATAG knows we're going.

Cptn Corizon -> I had to tell them. ::He wasn't completely stupid::

Fae -> +Howard+ At the moment I'm good, but part of the reason I want power usage numbers is cause I suspect we'll have a power shortfall trying to run at warp, shield, recharge phasers and cloak at the same time. I want to figure out our limits.

Fae -> +Howard+ It looks like we are good at 7.5 without weapons or shields, but...

Mark Garrison -> ::frowns, crossing his arms:: I just don't know what he plans to achieve by doing this.

DervtRahks -> @ Sthea'hwill, move those ie'yyakk h'nah!! Ie, faster au fvai, we need to get this shipment moved to the next secured location.

Rue Wydown -> Well, at least I know who the one who should be sectioned is if/when we get home.

Cptn Corizon -> Anyway, once we arrive in the Durbain system we'll meet up with an associate of ours. Ambassador N'Kedre. She has some information for us.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ Yeah, but. Of course we can't fire while cloaked to begin with, but if we want to charge up and come out shooting we'll definitely have to drop to low warp to manage it.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::moving back to a console, logging in to make her own log entry::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::then logs back out::

DervtRahks -> <that works better>

Fae -> +Howard+ Have you worked out some standard configurations?

Cptn Corizon -> Our goal is to find out who is running the weapons smuggling operation and bring that information to light, and if possible shut it down.

Laarell -> ::Garrison:: You have the conn. ::stands, heads for the lift:: I don't really know if I am comfortable being on the Bridge for this little incident.

Ayumu Kasuga -> <I hate it when that happens lol>

Victria -> ::The swords began to spin in unison, flashing as she twisted. She winced again and slowed her pace slightly.::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::notes to the duty officer that she's heading to the weapons range::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Sighs:: I gues I should tell the rest of the crew what we're doing.

Laarell -> ::steps into the lift, seething:: Engineering.

Mark Garrison -> ::gives her a silent nod, taking the center seat::

Rue Wydown -> And why not ask the Romulans for help instead of sneaking through their backdoor?

Laarell -> ::fumes, waiting for the lift to arrive at its destination::

Rue Wydown -> I think so. If anyone wants to back out, now is the time to do so before we get in over our heads.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ I'm still tinkering with those, as this is an improvisational piece of equipment we couldn't very well plan ahead. Especially when we weren't actually told what we were building. Though I figured it out anyway so I'm a little ahead of the curve.

Cptn Corizon -> Officially? Because we don't know if they're involved or not. That's why we're making contact with Ambassador N'Kedre.

Laarell -> ::steps out and into main engineering::

Tandaris Admiran -> ::sees Laarell:: Uh-oh.

Laarell -> ::paces through past the goldshirts, looking for the Trill::

Sean Howard -> :: notes a fuming green woman entering engineering, one with many pips to boot ::

Tandaris Admiran -> ::Sean:: I'm not here.

Fae -> +Howard+ Well, you let me know what you come up with, and I'll return the favor. I don't want to call for more power than you can generate, so I want to know the limits.

Tandaris Admiran -> ::uses the cloak as a cloak, by which he means he hides behind it::

Laarell -> ::espies him::

Sean Howard -> You'd better hide fast then sir, she's not on a tour... too late.

Cptn Corizon -> Alright then.

Laarell -> You. Me. Your office. Now. Don't argue. Just go.

Cptn Corizon -> I'll do it now.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ As soon as I know, you'll know.

Fae -> +Howard+ Appreciated! Thanks! Out!

Cptn Corizon -> ::Straightens his uniform and heads to the bridge, stopping at the door:: You sure you're in?

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::heads to the armory, checking out a plasma weapon, holster, and signing out a limited amount of ammo::

Sean Howard -> :: looks over the numbers again, compares that to what he was expecting ::

Rue Wydown -> This time, I'll help you. But the next time you keep me in the dark ::she points at him:: That's it. No more.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::holstering the weapon and tucking the container of caps under her arm, heads out into the corridor::

Laarell -> ::waits for Admiran to go into his office, and follows, lets the door shuts, then takes a deep breath::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Nods:: Deal. And for what it's worth, I am sorry. I should have trusted you.

Tandaris Admiran -> ::wonders if this is going to be hawt::

Tandaris Admiran -> ::has a feeling it will not::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Exits onto the bridge::

Sean Howard -> :: keeps an eye over on the door, wants to notice if the Orion comes out covered in Trill blood or not ::

Laarell -> What the hell were you thinking, putting together the devil's tools for Corizon? The man probably doesn't even have proper clearance to be doing this, and you just went ahead with it.

Mark Garrison -> ::glances over to the RR doors, standing::

Laarell -> I don't care if you've been a ship. I don't care if you're banging some slutty Trill ::like that was relevant:: and I don't want your excuses. Why the hell would you be complicit to something like that?

Sean Howard -> :: runs some calculations, muttering in Gaelic at random times ::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::moving down the corridor to the holodeck, sees one engaged already::

Fae -> :: glances back, sees that it is the CO and XO returning. ::

Rue Wydown -> ::following Corizon, while she's still not happy, she can put a calm mask over her emotions...all that medical training does that to a girl::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::rounds the corner to a smaller, secondary unit and powers up the range simulation::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Walks over to the command perch:: Put me on shipwide...

Laarell -> You didn't even tell me. Now it's going to be my career on the line, and yours, and everyone else's because you didn't check to make sure that this was... approved. I think he doesn't even have anyone back home informed, and now he's breaking treaties.

DervtRahks -> @ Oira, vaed'rae...we hna hrrau rhi siuren. Quii weapons and cargo stored. Prepare engage AQS and imput heading I am sending au hnah.

Fae -> Computer, this is Faenna Waters logging protest at treaty violation and intallation of improper equipment.

Fae -> :: puts the Captain on shipwide. ::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::entering the range, nods to the holoprojected range boss, moving to a station and placing the amunition box onto the small shelf before her::

Tandaris Admiran -> ::Laarell:: Huh?

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::removes weapon from the holster, checking it for safety when the 1MC goes live::

Mark Garrison -> ::glances a look to Fae, then Corizon::

Laarell -> The cloaking device. You made it for him. Don't lie. I heard him on the comm.

Laarell -> I can't believe you would do that.

Sean Howard -> :: inputs some of the numbers here, some there, looks it over and contemplates thoughtfully for a moment before running some more numbers ::

Tandaris Admiran -> ::Laarell:: Yes, and?

Laarell -> You're commiting a massive breach of interstellar treaty in the process!

Laarell -> You idiot! Are you insane? You're going to bring us all down in burning flames, and if you'd just checked with your superiors to see if this was a permitted construction project, none of this would have happened.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::places the weapon down, muzzle pointed downrange, the plasma cap resting beside it::

Sean Howard -> :: takes those, plugs them in a few more places, contemplates some more ::

Cptn Corizon -> << You do know Corizon is his superior officer, yes? >>

Laarell -> If we don't get killed by the Romulans, we're going to be drawn and quartered by Starfleet once they hear what we've done.

Cptn Corizon -> +Crew+ This is the Captain. As some of you may already be aware, we are currently proceeding to the Romulan Neutral Zone undercloak in direct violation of a half-dozen intergalactic treaties. I assure you that there are reasons for this and that no less than the security of the Federation is at stake. Also be aware that I take full responsibility for these actions. Those crew who do not wish to participate in this mission may willingly confine themselves to quarters for the duration, and a record of such actions will be kept to protect those who protested these actions.

Tandaris Admiran -> ::Laarell:: I don't think you get it.

Laarell -> Do you seriously think they'd approve Corizon for a mission like this? The man's this shy... this shy... ::pinches her fingers:: ... to being a rogue, and do you really think they would trust delicate diplomacy -- at this level -- to him?

DervtRahks -> @ H'nah AQS.....::gives the order to get underway to the next location they plan to covertly stash some of the weaponry

Tandaris Admiran -> ::Laarell:: Why are you still on this ship, Laarell?

Laarell -> ::hears the comm, nearly twitches::

Tandaris Admiran -> ::ignoring the comm::

Laarell -> What's that supposed to mean.

Tandaris Admiran -> You clearly don't agree with how Corizon does things.

Sean Howard -> :: decides he doesn't like what he sees as he listens to the Captain, but also decides there's nothing wrong with the numbers, they're just not pretty ::

Laarell -> So now obeying the diplomatic precepts of the Federation means *I* am the odd one out. Thank you. I needed the wisdom of that advice.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Cuts the comm, looks to the bridge crew:: Any of you wishing to leave the bridge may do so now. I won't hold it against any of you.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::places her hands, palms down on the shelf before her, taking in the comms::

DervtRahks -> <<::coughs:: bull::>

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::muscle clenching in her jaw::

Tandaris Admiran -> ::Laarell:: This isn't the first time Corizon has done something like this.

Laarell -> Never mind. I don't know why I bothered to ask why you did this. You don't have any sense now and you didn't before. Why should I bother even being surprised.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ Howard to Waters.

Tandaris Admiran -> ::shrugs:: I just really don't care any more.

Laarell -> Since when are Trills a dog's best friend? ::crosses arms::

Victria -> ::Victria did not even pause at the comm from Corizon, though she did slow down even further, more for her own health than to listen. She pondered the consequences to invading the neutral zone under cloak.::

Fae -> Captain? I believe it is my duty to make sure the JAG office does get a true copy of the log. Do you disagree?

Tandaris Admiran -> None of this matters.

Mark Garrison -> ::glances to Corizon:: You know how to put a people between a rock and a hard place, you know that, sir?

Fae -> +Howard+ One moment.

Rue Wydown -> :;watching out of curiousity to see who does what::

Rue Wydown -> ::mutters something that sounds like "it's his speciality"::

Laarell -> Don't get nihilistic with me, Tandaris Admiran.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ All right, but not smarmy hold music. :: amused ::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Nods::: Of course Mister Waters. I am well aware of the regulations.

Fae -> Very well.

Fae -> :: Turns forward ::

Fae -> +Howard+ Music held. Go ahead.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Glances to Mark:: I try.

DervtRahks -> @ The sleek ship moves off away from the moon it had been using for cover and heads towards it's next rendevous for trade.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::taking a few deep breaths, she shakes her head::

Tandaris Admiran -> ::Laarell:: Corizon knows very well what he's doing is wrong. If I had a choice, I wouldn't be here right now. But I don't have that choice. You could leave this ship and go join one with better moral fibre; I don't care.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ If we need to charge weapons we'll have to drop 2.5 warp points. Adding pre-charging shields, they can't be activated until the cloak goes down, adds another 1 warp point. So to do both, at best, is warp 4.5. I'll send you the full list. :: does so :

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::picks up her pistol, chambering the cap::

Laarell -> You don't have a choice? Really? Spare me. "Just following orders" is the oldest excuse in the books and people who use it still hang.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Mark:: But sometimes we have to break the rules to do what's right.

Ayumu Kasuga -> <<Goodnight, Excal! >>

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::takes a stance, and fires off three rounds in quick succession::

Laarell -> I don't care. If you're that much of a damned sheep to authority, there's no point reasoning with you. ::turns to leave::

Cptn Corizon -> If we don't shut down this smuggling operation, then someone's going to get hurt.

STSF_BluRox -> <I'll send you all some literature on the fome accommodations Starfleet has in New Zealand>

STSF_BluRox -> fine>

Tandaris Admiran -> ::watches Laarell go::

Fae -> +Howard+ Appreciated. Send the math too, would you? Not that I don't trust you, but I have a feeling this one should be double checked.

Laarell -> ::storms back out, and to the lift::

Rue Wydown -> ((Well, if we get caught on the Romulan side of the fence....))

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::slips her protective glasses on over her eyes with one hand, then takes a stance::

Tandaris Admiran -> Well that went better than I expected. . . .

Laarell -> ::steps inside, not even directing it::

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ Will do. Keep in mind these may change as I see more of how the cloak operates, but if it does I'll ping you. :: sends the math ::

Tandaris Admiran -> ::sighs, and slumps into his chair::

Mark Garrison -> ::nods:: And sometimes we have to follow orders we don't particularly like. I'm with you sir, I just hope this gamble pays off.

DervtRahks -> @ Engage cloak.....::ship shimmers from sight::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::fires off three shots in quick succession, the gun emitting a high-pitched whine with each pull of the trigger::

Laarell -> ::seething::

Cptn Corizon -> So do I...

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::the phased plasma ripples down the range, tearing into the target::

Cptn Corizon -> Fae, ETA to the edge of the NZ?

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::lowering the weapon, Charlotte sees three distinct burn marks in the center of the target, and the human analog has been shifted back significantly by the force::

Fae -> +Fae+ Understood. If you can think of a few test scenarios where we can confirm the numbers match reality, I'd be interested in that too.

Fae -> ( Howard )

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::using one hand, flips a switch and the analog target is shifted back into position::

Fae -> I have 4 hours, 37 minutes at 7.5.

Mark Garrison -> ::takes his seat back at Tactical, he'd have to wait to find Victria until after his shift::

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::fires off one round, pausing, then another::

Laarell -> Deck three. ::slumps against the wall::

Cptn Corizon -> :Garrison:: Put us on alert; have weapons and shields on stand by.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::repeats four times::

Cptn Corizon -> Where's Teykier?

Fae -> Mild tantrum thrown, exit stage rear.

Sean Howard -> +Fae+ Considering that now, that is when my eyes aren't crossing from trying to keep an eye on calculations as well as current status.

Charlotte Matsumura -> ::prepping for her certification, and channelling her growing frustration into her concentration::

Cptn Corizon -> ::Raises an ear::

Cptn Corizon -> PAUSE SIM

Cptn Corizon -> PAUSE SIM

Cptn Corizon -> PAUSE SIM

Laarell -> ::pulls out a padd, signing officially off-shift and pulling up the next-ranking officer::

Sean Howard -> :: paused ::

Fae -> :: Forward the calculations Howard sent to tactical ::

DervtRahks -> @ Pauses when I'm good and ready......Ok..now I'm ready.

Fae -> :: paused ::

Cptn Corizon -> Heh

Laarell -> ::paused::

Cptn Corizon -> See, wasn't that a nice present?

Laarell -> I like demotions. Really. They're fun.

DervtRahks -> @ We do na agree

Fae -> I would have chosen 'naughty' rather than 'nice'.

Sean Howard -> We're not in the Gamma Quadrant, yay! I'll take breaking the law and peril in exchange for that.

Cptn Corizon -> Yes, but in the GQ we can use our cloak!1

Fae -> On this ship, I think there is a law of conservation of peril.

Cptn Corizon -> I have to keep it interesting somehow.

STSF_BluRox -> Laarell may be the only one not being courtmartialed.

Sean Howard -> We have to live long enough for that, Blue.

Mark Garrison -> Does sleeping with the judge still work in the 24th century?

Sean Howard -> Blu*

Fae -> What? But she left the Republic stranded too!

DervtRahks -> I can help take care of that, the not living long enough

Sean Howard -> Anyhoo, I've gotta run. Night!

Rue Wydown -> But if the gamble works....who knows.

Charlotte Matsumura -> Mighty big if.

Cptn Corizon -> TBS will be a little over five hours with us just about to arrive in Durbian system.
